Since I’ve hooked up my old PC as an HTPC streaming video to my TV I’ve hardly used my dvd player (standalone divx player) at all.

It’s so much more convenient to have 2TB of hard disk space available with a remote. Better than the 4gb i was limited by my dvd player, and I guess, better than the blu-ray storage capacity as well.

This one is not something you can download or something, but the info is interesting.

Mr.X keeps rlslog alive. He is great!

I have given up on all optical media and just keep everything on my PC. Eventually we will just use harddrive devices attached to a TV to watch HD stored movies.

At the moment I have my PC hooked up to my TV via video out cable. If we watch movies at my friends house we use a usb stick and the upscaling on the PS3/Sony Bravia owns.
