Does not work with DVD Architect, can’t patch file and the serial generated seems to be the wrong format.
Works with Vegas Pro 8 and Movie Studio Platinum
Works with regular Movie Studio as well, wish it would work for DVD Architect though.

Same error I got with DVD Architect, seems like wrong build, says the serial generated is supposed to start with different digits, that’s my guesstimation anyway.

i wouldn’t be surprised if saying “Just pick up what you like from Sony’s web page and activate with this little keygen” will be seen upon too kindly by sony. it sounds like your advising people to do so whereas the purpose of this website is suppose to be to advertise latest torrents and not advise to breach the law.

for some reason my sony vegas 8 wont accept the code any idea’s? :S
When I go to register my vegas pro 8.0, vegas shows my machine ID with a -HH at the end but on the keygen, it doesn’t. The keygen isn’t working and this is most likely the problem. Anyone have a fix?

I bought a BRAND NEW copy of Sony DVD Architect Studio from Target 2 days ago. I paid $50.00 for it, only to find that it does not run on Vista. I tried to return it and was told “no return on opened software” I went to Sony Support and they essentially said “too bad” we don’t support Vista….give us more money.
Target is selling Sony products that do not work with the computers they sell, a CLEARLY deceptive practice…. but who is going to spend a day in court for $50.00? The manufactures know this.
I found your site looking for a way to make the serial number of the product I PURCHASED work with a Vista compatible version of DVD Architect….which I’ve learned is not possible from other forums.
Quite frankly I didn’t know it was possible to “crack” programs until I read your blog … so I thank you for the education. It seems that the only recourse Target and Sony have left consumers is find a working version of the product they PAID for from a “warez” site. Hi there. So I have a store bought copy of Sony vegas Platinum version 7.0a . I recently moved to africa and had a computer crash. So I reinstalled the program from my disk, yet do you think i kept the little paper envelope with the key code when i moved across the world? Of course not. *sigh* can anyone help me out? I dont need to crack the program or anything, since i have a purchased copy. I just need an activation code. Any ideas are appreciated. I couldn´t use the patch in vista. But right click and open as administrator and worked. It was sound forge 9.0c. And to use the asio drivers I needed to open the program the same way, as administrator.
I don´t care about FBI and thrilling stories…
I CAN’T USE ACTIVATION CODE FOR VEGAS 8.0!!! HEEEELLPPP!!!! It says: “The authentication code is incorrect, please check that it has been entered correctly. You’ll probably have to run the Keygen as Administrator. Otherwise you’ll get an error while patching.
