do i have to reinstall dvd architect if i was using the trial verison from there web site for this patch to work i did what you told me to do i patch the file but it keep saying the code is wrong when i go to acttivate.

it did work for me acid music studio 7a, i did step by step just like it said above,and i also have vista so maybe you got another problem,really thanks ,it took me a lot to get with the solution,but i could finally solved it

wow…i tried what you guys posted..run the keygen as administrator, etc…but the AUTHENTICATION CODE IS INCORRECT. Im using XP Pro…why am i having problems here?

worked perfectly …..

do what Var # 34 comment said:

after that make sure u turn ur internet off!!!
enter the serial that Insanity provides, then choose
activate on another computer
save the html to your desktop then after it downloads
DELETE IT!! then copy the activation/authencation code
the generator provides…thats it!! then run it w/out
internet just once then your all set!

pls!! help ,I’m running as admin and copyied the keygen to sony’s directory, and then click patch, it’s coming up a “progress bar” but at 60% it crasched, and it said: an error has accoured a pathing etc. yeah! great! anyway pls solve my problem. Ps : I’m using Vista.

Addendum: This works perfectly for the latest 9.0e (Build 441) release of SoundForge too.

Updated from 9.0d to 9.0e

This time the patch stopped me having to go through the Activation process – just started right into Sound Forge.

This worked perfectly.

Even if you get any trouble with the authentication code not being recognised, because of not having elevated the keygen.exe file’s priveleges (made it “Run as Administrator”), just:

(1) Close Sound Forge

(2) Run Keygen as Administrator (right-click -> “Run as Administrator”)

(3) Find the install directory (Program Files (x86) -> Sony was mine)

(4) Press Patch

(5) Run Sound Forge, and go through the registration (choosing the ‘Activate from another computer’ option)
, and inputting the serial and authentication code from the keygen where applicable.

Only fell foul of the UAC privelege problem in Vista. Otherwise, it’s the same great patch/keygen as it was for XP.
