Speed Video Converter supports various video formats, such as AVI (Divx,xDiv), MPEG-4, mpeg (vcd, svcd, dvd compatible), wmv, asf, Quick Time, VOB, DAT. It supports Batch File Conversion that can convert more than one files, just needs one click.

    Since the GUI looks very Java, the program must be Java (otherwise it would have had a native Windows look and feel or some QT/GTK GUI) and since Java is terribly slow on Windows, the program can’t be as fast as it claims to be … conclusion: it’s crapware !

    Try mediacoder(freeware) it is much faster as it supports quad core cpus and cpu optimisations like sse3,sse4 with an addon. It also supports gpu encoding such as cuda on nvidia gpus.
