Yay! Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg strikes back with a new album which will officially hit the stores on Monday. It’s little misleading to call it a new album (it’s actually EP) as there are songs with 2Pac and few other rappers who aren’t active anymore, but all fans of this music will surely appreciate these 13 tracks. We will have to wait for Snoop Dogg’s real studio album called Ego Trippin’ at least till March…

Cordozar Calvin Broadus, Jr. (born October 20, 1971), better known professionally as Snoop Dogg and previously Snoop Doggy Dogg, is an American rapper, record producer, and actor. Snoop is best known as an MC in the West Coast hip hop scene, and for being one of producer Dr. Dre’s most notable protégés. His catch phrase is “fo’ shizzle, ma nizzle.” That style of slang was invented by Frankie Smith and The Gap Band in the early eighties, and popularized in part by fellow rapper E-40.

    This is not a true Snoop Dogg official album release. Sexual Eruption is on Ego Trippin’ and that album comes out in March. Besides, he hasn’t gone by Snoop Doggy Dogg in years, it’s now officially Snoop Dogg. This is probably a bootleg mixtape…

    Just fyi E.P. stands for “Extended Play” and means that the record is too many tracks to be a single but too few for an album.

    This “album” is a bootleg compiled and manufactured by commercial pirates (probably dutch or german). A lot of the tracks are old and has been on the internet for ages :)
    And it’s not a mixtape either.

    Probably just some unofficial ‘greatest hits’ style compilation that has been released by K-Town Records and not listed anywhere because Snoop releases under his own label; Doggystyle Records.
