Snoop Dogg - Ego Trippin (2008)

A popular hip hopper Snoop Dogg is back with a brand new studio album Ego Trippin’. It will take two more weeks for this album to appear in the stores worldwide but group CMS released a clean, retail version of it just few hours ago. I already listened to few tracks and it’s pretty obvious: this will be a big hit! If you like rap and hip hop, you simply can not miss this.

Ego Trippin’ is the ninth studio album by Long Beach, California-based rapper Snoop Dogg. The album is scheduled to be released March 11, 2008. The album was originally scripted to featured no guests and showcase Snoop Dogg only, hence the title “Ego Trippin’”. However, Snoop Dogg proved this concept untrue as he has scheduled tracks with the likes of Pharrell, Nelly, Charlie Wilson, among others. Snoop Dogg originally confirmed that Pharrell, Nelly and Charlie Wilson would appear on a track entitled, “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” and that he also would like to work with Bono, Madonna and Mick Jagger as well.

    Snoop Dogg is a filthy scumbag. Remember that rape case? I fail to understand how such cheap characters are allowed to mint money. I dislike the trend of the necessity of having a criminal record to make it big in the rap world. As a matter of fact, GTA San Andreas did make a joke on this. Remember OG Loc?

    Hehe don’t hate i understand what he means, great rapping you have to go back to old school or check out some underground, personally loving kool keiths projects, specifically with DangerMouse, that feels more like “Rap” while hiphop with rapping on it feels very commericial these days.

    I’m sure as usual with snoop there will be a few great tunes and a lot of medicore ones, i look forward to listening thanks for posting the links guys.

    Solid album..Teddy Riley still has the production skills. No Dr. Dre beats? It’s good to hear an album that is not filled entirely with guest appearances. Wasn’t feeling the country joint but there is nothing wrong with experimentation I guess. Worth the DL.

    back in the day people made beats and hunted for rappers. now rappers are paying bazillions to rap on a track cuz its sounds good. you can make millions just off ur hook. there was a time when the greatest spit without even having a track laid down in front of him. his name was 2pac. he told the studio producers i aint got time to be sitting here and rapping over and over again so that you can get the beats and all that crap right. imma spit it and bounce. you figure out how u want ur music to sound. i already know how i want my lyrics to sound.
