I feel really sorry for anyone who has bought this expecting "Sniper Elite 2". It is not in the same league, in any respect. If you've bought this and *not* tried Sniper Elite yet, please get Sniper Elite… and then write to its developers and ask them to dev a sequel!!

Like a previous poster, I am experiencing a complete crash in 'Art if Victory' after the cut-scene where the truck arrives at the fort. I've tried re-setting all the graphics options to "low", and re-playing the mission leading up to that point, but nothing has made a difference.

Any tips on how to get past this crash, please?

The game crashed at level 8 right after the cut scene of the truck entering the fort (level where you have to open the gate so the truck can enter the fort). The game is always crashing at this same place.

Anyone know how to fix this bug, please?? I´ve Windows Vista…

well bloody germans. without the help of the usa probably the most of us would speak german fluent. the germans where not that stupid like in the game. silly game makers. would be nice to see it more real. harder to play.

Kind of enjoy the game somewhat for the sniping some poor SOB from far away. AI is poor and a little dated graphics but still good enough for killing time.

Unfortunately, I kept on getting a VC++ error message and the game crashed at level 8 right after the cut scene of the truck entering the fort (level where you have to open the gate so the truck can enter the fort). Always crashed at the same place so I uninstalled it after a few times of the same crash.

I’m not sure how many bugs there are in the German version of this game, but I encountered none in the English verson.
I just finished the game and liked it a lot. It’s nice to play a game where you can take it easy. The aiming is perfect, but of course there are people who don’t bother to read and want to play on “veteran” level. That way they have no idea that (to make it realistic) you have to be aware of the speed and heading of the wind. When you play in “recruit” mode, you see a small circle that shows you the deviation made by the wind. You can actually make head shots when you time this right. The head shots are very nice where you see the bullet flying as if there was a camera attached to it. A great feature is the quicksave, so you can try to make better shots The only problem I had with this game is that it’s only 8 missions long, which was quite short.

I would recommend it if you like to play sniper games.

My god(!) this game was a waste of time. You’ll be happier playing “my little pony”, seriously. The AI sucked big time and apprently the npc:s can see thru walls so sneaking is no option.

The “aim”-system is just annoying because you HAVE to wait a certain time before making your shot (or you’re guaranteed to miss). Sure, some people might consider it realistic but I’d like a sniper-game to have a aim-system based on wind and distance instead of some yellowdot that glows up when you’ve waited for 10 sec.

Stay away from this game.
