Decent game for 1 CD size… you take control of a sharpshooter on the WWII. If you like Time Crisis games on your Play Station, this is a good alternative for PC.

WW II was a theatre of war for many specialized combat units, working together to ensure an army’s victory. Among them a unique role was played by hidden and deadly marksmen.

Their ability to lay motionless waiting for the perfect shot together with their professional equipment allowed them to change the course of the history with one pull of a trigger.

Become a sharpshooter and take part in the turning points of the WW II. Eliminate the Nazi general, who came to support the Germans lying siege to Stalingrad. Make your way through areas occupied by the Third Reich to your unit. Aid the Alliance forces during their offensive on the Italian Peninsula to break the resistance of the retreating Wehrmacht forces.

    It looks NICE, as it’s using pretty good gfx engine. But as you can see, it’s developed by City Interactive, and I simply CAN’T name even ONE of their games which was entertaining.

    So if you like good games (like eg Call of Duty), you probably won’t like this.

    Decent game?!

    I had the misfortune of playing the german release of this monstrocity. My brain still hurts from the horrible gameplay.

    It’s like Sniper Elite, only remove the few good things, triply the bad stuff and… no, you’re done.

    Avoid this game like the plague… it’s complete and utter garbage.

    It might be a small download but trust me, it’s not worth either your bandwidth or time for that matter.

    LOL Holocaust Denier I’m with you on this one. Its always the poor German soldiers taking it in the neck. I want to control Wehrmacht and SS troops. Then again it would be an easy game as the forces you control would be too superior to the rubbish they have to kill. I guess the real challenge would be the realism of knocking out the HUGE quantities of Russian Untermensch.

    I totally agree with you.

    In fact, since no company was developing any game like this I started to program one myself. The game is still in Beta, but it has 3 stages - ancient Hebrew (Biblical times), WWII and modern times (Israel/Palestine). In each quest you play a character who must kill the most number of Jews in the most painful way. It is like Manhunt - the Holocaust version!

    If you like, I can post the dmeo on Rapidshare. I am looking for some other devs to help me code and market it.

    ok tried this. it should have more gfx settings 1280×900 around max res. cant go higher I looked for the ini couldnt find anthing to edit the gfx. also they were in polish I think.

    its a shame cause it uses the chrome engine 2 which has very good gfx, but on this game none to be found

    worst game of the year, bad instructions, poor interface. sh*t SFX, sh*t guns, bad graphics, and poorly done “bullet time” are just a few flaws

    I mean if you hit a 400yard headshot you want to see the bullet travel, but noooo it only works on headshots closer than that.

    Plus you can see through some buildings if you look at the right angle. WTF?!?! how did the testers (if any) let this pass? there should be laws to allow sh*t like this to be legally burnt along with its creators, their children and their family pets.

    Go throw this in a barrel and sh*t in it, because there is no place in anyones life for this utter utter piece of dog waste.

    Yes, this game is atrocious, and I love games that people usually hate, lol. I also love sniper type games but this was just not fun at all. You don’t feel like you’ve sniped someone, if you can actually snipe them, the reticule is a little wonky.

    Thank you so much for the post and the free-ness of it all but dang, that game company made a five dollar game, heh heh…

    I have downloaded it and played the 1st level before putting it in the recycle bin where it belongs.
    Shoddy graphics, rubbish physics. Looks and feels like crap.
    Looks like it was made a decade ago.

    My god(!) this game was a waste of time. You’ll be happier playing “my little pony”, seriously. The AI sucked big time and apprently the npc:s can see thru walls so sneaking is no option.

    The “aim”-system is just annoying because you HAVE to wait a certain time before making your shot (or you’re guaranteed to miss). Sure, some people might consider it realistic but I’d like a sniper-game to have a aim-system based on wind and distance instead of some yellowdot that glows up when you’ve waited for 10 sec.

    Stay away from this game.

    I’m not sure how many bugs there are in the German version of this game, but I encountered none in the English verson.
    I just finished the game and liked it a lot. It’s nice to play a game where you can take it easy. The aiming is perfect, but of course there are people who don’t bother to read and want to play on “veteran” level. That way they have no idea that (to make it realistic) you have to be aware of the speed and heading of the wind. When you play in “recruit” mode, you see a small circle that shows you the deviation made by the wind. You can actually make head shots when you time this right. The head shots are very nice where you see the bullet flying as if there was a camera attached to it. A great feature is the quicksave, so you can try to make better shots :-) The only problem I had with this game is that it’s only 8 missions long, which was quite short.

    I would recommend it if you like to play sniper games.

    Kind of enjoy the game somewhat for the sniping some poor SOB from far away. AI is poor and a little dated graphics but still good enough for killing time.

    Unfortunately, I kept on getting a VC++ error message and the game crashed at level 8 right after the cut scene of the truck entering the fort (level where you have to open the gate so the truck can enter the fort). Always crashed at the same place so I uninstalled it after a few times of the same crash.
