Sneakers 1992 DVDRip XViD iNT-PFa
Two days ago PFa brought out 2 internal releases. Sneakers seems to be a good movie that has to make with “Hackers”. Robert Redford stars in this film back from 15 years ago. I have never heard about it but I’ll check it for sure cause I like all things that have to do with computers. Many of you will have already seen this and some other have already download it. PFa quality is always decent. Enjoy!
Two politically-minded whizkids pull off a daring computer caper in the Sixties, but, by a serendipitous twist of fate, only one of them gets caught. Twenty years later, the lucky half of that daring duo has set himself up in business as the leader of an oddball group of computer hackers who test security systems for big companies. But when agents from the NSA (National Security Agency) catch up with him, he must agree to send his team on a top secret, i.e. illegal, mission to recapture an invaluable decoding device. This powerful “black box” would allow anyone possessing it, including the Russians, the ability to access or alter whatever information they wanted to — in the entire cyberspace galaxy. But things are not quite as they appear to be, and our aging hero soon realizes he must look into his own past to unlock the biggest secret of all.

Man Mike, you really shouldn’t make these personal comments about the movies. Just some tech info & short plot description will do.
Each time you comment on something not a 2006/2007 blockbuster, you prove you know next to nothing about the world of movies…
sorry but what kind of comment do I make? I say that I don’t know this film and I read in IMDB that it has to do with hackers etc. so It has to do with computers as well… so I think ill watch it… further I only comment to something I know or just know something of it. when I don’t, I just ask your comments or don’t say anything
if you don’t like the comments just skip em bob =)
Must agree with Mike, can’t see anything ‘personal’ about his comments.
If he was being personal, it would be something nearer “this film sucks monkey balls.” or “Robert Redford is a ginger twat who wears women’s underwear.”
So bob, just be glad that it isn’t me writing the posts!
No more secrets…
Setec Astronomy = Too Many Secrets
This movie gave birth to my love for anything computers…
Great cast, great story, great movie. Dont pay attention to some technical issues. This was 15 years ago, just dont get too nerdy technical and you WILL enjoy this movie.
One of my favorite movie quotes is from this movie:
Dick Gordon: National Security Agency.
Martin Bishop: Ah. You’re the guys I hear breathing on the other end of my phone.
Dick Gordon: No, that’s the FBI. We’re not chartered for domestic surveillance.
Martin Bishop: Oh, I see. You just overthrow governments. Set up friendly dictators.
Dick Gordon: No, that’s the CIA. We protect our government’s communications, we try to break the other fella’s codes. We’re the good guys, Marty.
Martin Bishop: Gee, I can’t tell you what a relief that is… Dick.
Dude! This movie rocks!
Even though it was shot 15 years ago, it was seriously ahead of it’s time. It could be easily be a 2007 release and not tell the difference (except from the fact that not everybody in the cast is still alive, rest in peace River…)
Sneakers is in my Top-10 all-time favorite movies…
