I didn’t want to post this but I thought, that there are some people who want to download just the 1CD release of it. Group DEiTY just released a 1CD version of what DiAMOND released hours ago. A very bad attempt by this group if I can say. They reveal that the movie is 110minutes and putting it in 2 CDs is oversizing. I totally disagree and will grab the DiAMOND release.

who needs 5.1 anyway? personally i set up some b&o 5.1 in my living room a few months back and soon went back to the good old tv speakers - it was just too annoying for my taste.

You have this movie in whatever quality you want, 1 cd and 2 cds. What more could bring the miraculous axxo? 1080p hdtv in just 700 mb? Some people are relly n00bs…

The reason people look for the ‘miraculous’ aXXo release is purely because they know they’ll be able to watch it when they’ve downloaded it..and not find out a day later that it’s been nuked!..
It is nuked for “invalid.proper” as would be expected. Get the DiAMOND release.

mikky firstly just because people like aXXo doesn’t mean they are nOObs, secondly people like aXXo releases as they are always good quality at the smallest file size, I’ve seen this film and it’s not worth a 2cd rip at all, it does have some good parts to it, but really, if you want high quality just buy the film on DVD or Blu Ray or HD DVD, there’s no point in wasting time and bandwidth downloading a film that can fir on 1 cd. I myself, prefer to have the films as small as they can be at a good quality, and aXXo provides that. plus I didn’t waste time downloading a 2cd rip, when I could have been downloading 2 films instead :), plus it’s a great way of finding out what to buy and what to bin

U’r 100% correct. Those axxo boyfans r all the way noobs who diss quality like Diamond’s cause they got crappy bandwidth and systems anyways. And they r all like: oh, i just wanna see it before i buy it… Sure, they can’t afford a decent connection, but they buy dvds galore! rotfl
When i see a 2h lush / action movie fitted on a 700/800 mb it really bugs me, esp when all the noobs start kissin’ @@@ for the “quality”…

2 cd dvdrips have 5.1 AC3 audio and to some ppl see a HUGE difference between stereo and 5.1

I didn’t see anyone “dissing” Diamond, if you want to download 2cds for one film that’s up to you, not everyone wants that. I’d much rather have 2 films coming down. and yes I DO buy DVD’s of films that are good, obviously you don’t as you want perfect quality in a download (which I have to tell you, you are not going to get that in a avi rip of any size).
and calling people noobs for asking simple questions just makes you look like a dick.
now if everyone could just start posting on the actual quality going by the size of the file, rather than comparing it to a file that’s bigger, “ooh it’s bigger it’s got more quality ooh ooh ooh” please stop it.

ac3 is waaaay better than 128 vbr
at least diamond try to do around 160 vbr when they do 1cd’s
i wish people would use minimum 160 vbr and lower the vid bitrate with no visual loss but not everyone has grado’s like me
I actually found this version of Smokin’ Aces way faster download time then the diamond version. But I’m really not sure how much of a difference is between the NOSCR and the Deity in quality. Big plus for the 1 disc tho.

Yea J some of us can download a torrent at 1200Kbs and then play em on our 60 inch plasma hooked up to our Divx capable upscaling dvd player..lol
So if you want a file that you can watch on your pc screen then go with a 1cd aXXo.
If you want good quality then you’l get a 2cd which is encoded at a higher bitrate ..which means BETTER QUALITY.
But some noobs wouldn’t know quality if it bit em in the ass.

again I say quality/size, you really don’t know what you are talking about, I know that a 2cd version will have better quality than a 1cd version, I just prefer to have the film quicker, and not waste time downloading 2cd’s for a film that might be shit, (I’ve seen this at the cinema it’s really not all that good, but like I said before it does have some good parts)
and I’m not telling you to download a 1cd version if you don’t want to, but don’t tell me to download a 2cd verson because you prefer them. and if you can download at that speed wouldn’t it be better for you to be downloading 2 films at the time it takes to download 1?
also If you have a Plasma and 5.1/6.1/7.1 surround system, why the hell are you downloading films in 2cd versions? you need proper HD quality on a plasma screen to get the best picture.
now like I said, stop complaining about 1cd versions, (This one is pretty good actually looked at the sample earlier, oh and I say pretty good meaning for the size of it, as I can think in those terms which obviously not many people can) Like I’ve said on other boards, 2cd beats 1cd, DVD beats 2cd’s, HD-DVD/Blu Ray beats DVD but the better the qulity the bigger the file size.

I forgot to add This Rip is a good quality rip (and for you people who can’t understand what good quality means, I’ll spell it out for you) Good Quality at 700mb = worth a download, if you want better quality then get the 2cd (split film) version, and stop whinging about the 700mb 1cd rips! why are you even looking here if you don’t like them?
Just be happy that you can download this stuff, whatever it is. Everyone will have personal preferences, whether it be scene releases/axxo, 1CD/2CD, VBR mp3/5.1 AC3 and so on. Just make your own choice and mind up, just because you picked one doesn’t mean you have to keep going on about the other one being so bad for whatever reason.
