I’d like to start this post with a little ‘announcement’. From 1- to 8 January i’ll be skiing in Austria with my school. So no posts from me in that week, sorry folk. After that i’ll be back on posting (if I don’t break an arm or something). Thanks for understanding 
Anyway, let’s start this off; Smokin’ Aces (2007) released by REVEiLLE. REVEiLLE has released some decent releases in the past so I guess this is one to add in that list. The movie has had some nice reviews online, and IMDB-users are quite positive too: 6.7/10. Just get this one for yourself if you like 720p.
In these interlocking tales of high stakes and low lifes, Mob boss Primo Sparazza has taken out a hefty contract on Buddy “Aces” Israel (Piven)–a sleazy magician who has agreed to turn state’s evidence against the Vegas mob. The FBI, sensing a chance to use this small-time con to bring down big-target Sparazza, places Aces into protective custody-under the supervision of two agents (Reynolds and Liotta) dispatched to Aces’ Lake Tahoe hideout. When word of the price on Aces’ head spreads into the community of ex-cons and cons-to-be, it entices bounty hunters, thugs-for-hire, smokin’ hot vixens and double-crossing mobsters to join in the hunt. With all eyes on Tahoe, this rogues’ gallery collides in a comic race to hit the jackpot and rub out Aces.

haha yea #4, I was just thinking about the plot of this, and don’t remember any poker being played, just a lot of bullets flying…lol. I like how he just looked at the title…smooth
despite the bad reception i enjoyed this movie , it was a good popcorn flick
Love the ending to this movie, especially with the music. Lets just see how much better this is than a re encoded axxo release!

one of the worst films ive ever seen, the shooting randomly out the building part just really got on my nerves, whole film deserves burning.
