Smashing Pumpkins - American Gothic EP (2008)

And the third album I would like to present today is a different music genre as well: after hip-hop and pop, Smashing Pumpkins can’t be marked as anything else than alternative rock. Really, listening this kind of music with your volume up will drive your neighbours crazy. American Gothic is a rather short EP with only 4 accoustic songs, but you will surely love all of them!

Only released digitally in the U.S.! 2008 acoustic CD EP from Billy Corgan and his SmashPumps featuring four brand new songs: ‘The Rose March’, ‘Again, Again, Again (The Crux)’, ‘Pox’ and ‘Sunkissed’. This EP, considered by the band to be a companion to their Zeitgeist album, was recorded in Pass Studio in Los Angeles when the band were taking a break from touring. Produced by Billy Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin (with one track co-produced by Roy Thomas Baker).

Tracklist:

1 The Rose March               4:31
2 Again, Again, Again, (the Crux)               3:43
3 Pox             3:36
4 Sunkissed                5:10

Way to rock your neighbors, with acoustic rock. Do you listen to music Martin, or read your posts for that matter?

Zeitgeist had a few good songs, but no “Zero”. They’ll never top that. And it was a rather weak reunion cd. Checkin this crap out though, to add to the disco..

Band? its a duo and they shouldnt be calling themselves smashing pumpkins, jimmy wasnt even in the band half the time.
james iha and D’Arcy were’nt even asked to join them cause they friggin hate billy, jimmy probably joined because he’s broke as hell.
Billy owns the copyright and is milking it as much as he can. Kinda sad since i love SP :( im amazed that you used an old pic to show them with all the original members when it has nothing to do with the current setup.. at least consult wikipedia before posting something?

Smashing Pumpkins only known as Alt Rock? Come on unless you’ve only listened to their most popular songs you must know they’ve got a broad range of musical skill far beyond just Alt Rock….

    P.S. - The Pumpkins Rock!!!!
