I’ve been a fan of “MythBusters” for quite a while now (even though I sometimes grow tired of how the show is produced), so I decided to check this one out. What garbage. True, I only saw one episode, but it was enough to not make me want to see another. It almost seemed to be a competition between the team members for who could say the most obvious or inane thing. And the chick “scientist”? Give me a break.

well…after watching this show I’ve made up my thoughts..

You people who whine about it being a mythbuster-wannabe show…you’re right…in the sence that, yes they have explosions (like the mythbusters), yes they test it in different ways and come with a conclusion at last (like the mythbusters)…but h*ll, there’s like a million shows doing this already.. Mythbusters is a great show, but that doesn’t mean they can be the only ones blowing stuff up and testing different materials..

Personally I liked the show, though the hosts kinda annoyed me. But no matter how you twist and turn it…it’s explotions FGS!!!…we’re men…we’re supposed to love that sh*t, no matter who provides the talk inbetween the explotions…I for one did!

I thought the sneak preview of the show was great! I’ll definitely be tuning in for the regular season, which I think starts Jan. 16th.

This show really sucks. Turned it off after 5 minutes. Its just one long advert for Rhino Lining which doesnt even work that well.

Discovery sure is scraping the bottom of the barrel.

The problem with these topic-channels is how much stuff they have to pump out, so the quality goes thru the floor. Maybe some of these science channels should join forces and create one channel with just quality material.

Ah yes. Saw commercials for it during “sneak peek week” on Discovery. Looks intresting; a lot of cars and busses smashing into each other and blowing up. This, and Some Assembly Required look like promising series.

Just so others know, I liked this show a lot. I didn’t find it to be a rip off, of mythbusters at all. I also liked how they handled the challenge, doing several tests and explaining things, all which helped improve the success of the final test.

also, your beef is with the scene. rlslog doesn’t release stuff… duh. they just tell about what is out there… good or not. it’s helpful to post the bad stuff with summaries so we don’t waste bandwidth…

instead of complaining that you don’t want it, thank them for saving 2 minutes of your life that you may have spent finding out on your own.

Just finished watching it, I honestly loved it, that Rhino Lining stuff is awesome, its a future material to be used in cars, tanks, everything and the fact that they did a whole episode on it really made me happy as a Discovery Channel fan, this is my opinion.

I’d like to THANK Mr. X for doing such an awesome job, if it weren’t for you I’d have no clue about this show, we need more people like you and if people hate it, then they should clearly go into a corner and sulk.

Agreed Munchkin!
Especially the part about Boondocks, that show rocks.
This Smash Lab on the other hand, i’ll watch it, sounds like all the explosive parts of mythbusters combined (which is my favorite part anyways).
