    Ellen Page is a truly talented actress and I really try to keep an eye on her new projects, however for some reason Juno didn’t seem to push her much into Hollywood and she still keeps doing indie flicks… but that’s fine by me.

    This movie is decent, but a little maddening IMO. Thomas Haden Church does a great job in this, as he does in pretty much all his other movies.

    Iron Man R5 oh please STFU about it already… The DVD is released end of September…. Should see it end of August.. Most DVD comes out about 4 to 5 months after it comes out in theaters.

    I would recommend Hard Candy. She plays a teenage girl who tortures a possible pedophile in his own home. It’s very beautifully directed and well-acted. I also watched An American Crime lately. Page plays Sylvia Likens, a girl who was actually tortured in the 60’s I think by a woman who let other kids in the neighborhood do horrible things to her, like branding and other stuff. Page’s best performance is arguably in Juno, which almost everyone has hopefully seen.

    Downloaded the Smart People R5, haven’t watched yet.

    Yes, the music level clouds the dialogue in a lot of scenes. I thought it was just my eq settings but tried it in winamp and WMP, same issue. Recommend getting subtitles or different copy.

    the downmix from multichannel to stereo is crap, the center channel (with most of the dialogue) is too quiet
    also the audio is slightly out of sync, but nothing serious (so far, 22min)

    btw: /wo sjp it would be a so much nicer movie…

    What a waste of bandwidth! DON’T bother downloading this! There are no subs available yet and the audio is really as bad or worse as others have reported.
    There’s dialog in a scene in a moving car 13 minutes into the movie that is impossible to hear because of the music! Whoever released this should be ridiculed and banned.
