Slipstream LIMITED 2007 DVDRip XViD-BaLD
You can now see Anthony Hopkins’s first attempt at writing a movie in “Slipstream”. Hopkins also directs and stars, alongside John Turturro and Christian Slater. This is a mixture of a few genres that combine into what looks to be an interesting ride. However, don’t get dizzy by the excellent 8.5 rating, because only 282 people have voted as of yet.

Synopsis: Anthony Hopkins channels his inner David Lynch for this MULHOLLAND DRIVE-like descent into the warped mind of a Hollywood screenwriter. Felix Bonhoeffer (Hopkins) appears to be losing his grip on reality. After he witnesses a highway road-rage incident go deadly, Felix’s world begins to spin out of control. For one thing, the characters he’s written into his most recent script have begun to appear in his actual life. Two of these figures (played by Christian Slater and Jeffrey Tambor) happen to be evil hit men who have just knocked off another seemingly innocent victim (Michael Clarke Duncan).

Just download it overnight and watch it. If not hit the DELETE key. Failing that got to IMDB or RT and check out the reviews. The people who read this blog tend to be people who slag a film off as a waste of bandwidth because they didn’t like it (even though it was basically free).

I wasn’t trying to be a wiseass. If you can decide weather to watch a film based on comments like:
“Just watched it, artsy fartsy bad attempt to make a movie by the usually brilliant actor Hopkins”
fine, but if you want a more detailed idea of what the film is like and a better idea of if you might enjoy it, then try IMDB or RT.

Rottentomatoes consensus doesn’t look good. The plot sounded interesting enough, but I think I’ll give this one a pass in light of the damning reviews.

@16 There was no such comments before I commented on it. IMDB had few votes (you probably know a lot of producers gives a high vote on IMDB - so I won’t trust IMDB as it did have so few votes as that). I always use IMDB to check if the film is worthy to be seen or not. I’m tired of bad movies

Try comming up with an original comment instead of “quoting” someone else. I’ve watched it and thought it was crap, but thats just my opinion. After you’ve watched it, come back and give us your view on the film. (good/bad/soso, there are hundreds of possibilities)

Agree that bandwidth could be wasted for an iffy movie. My most trusted critic, Roger Ebert, was one of the few on RT who liked it…after viewing the bloody thing twice.

tmpgenc has always been a favorite of mine. CCE gets better quality, but you can barly tell the difference and tmpg is pretty damn quick. Quicker than a mpeg-4 format, that’s for sure.

This movie is like a alzheimer’s patient taking acid and meth at the same time then watching there day un fold. Not saying this is going to be a bad movie just i can tell most people would find it boring. But hit the bong a couple times and you will be right in to it for hours ahahahahha but the movie has a lot of quick cuts flash backs flash forwards and just about any other flash you could pull off in a movie at any one given time… give it a shot if you got the time to expand your mind. might become a cult favorite but most likely not. thats my two cents.

This movie is a such a waste of time. A marked transition from the surreal fantasy to the unreal but true or somewhat fiction is never clear in this film. It’s just weird from the get go and never stops being wierd.
And of all people Anthony Hopkins really misses the mark on this one. What a waste of fine actors.

This was the WORST movie I have ever seen in my life!! And I have seen alllllot of them. Watching this made me f*ucking angry cause absolutely nothing interesting happened. For the first time ever I felt like I totally wasted my time on a BAD movie!!! Lost my respect on Anthony Hopkins.
