this game has massive desyncing problems that causes crashes.

it is pitiful that it has still not been fixed a year after release

Nice Xbox360 gets dantes inferno and bioshock 2 and we get this crap, whats happend to all the good pc games that were supposed to have been released lately. i thinks its a mass consipracy from software houses, they must think if they keep giving us boring or crap games that we will go out and buy a console, well guess what its never gonna happen after all the xbox360 is basically a low end pc with limited hd space and a poor cooling system in a cheap plastic case…… ok enough ranting i’m just fedup of waiting for all these great pc games we were promised last year that are taking forever to be released, sometimes 4-6 months after the console versions.

Lots of MISINFORMATION HERE as usual.
Sins of a Solar Empire as stated includes the original game, the add on Entrenchment and the very new Diplomacy add on. I would get this to have an all in one solution rather than installing all 3 previous games and the patches etc.
Single player is skirmish and offline. You can have A.I. allies or all against all, teams etc.
Online is easy and DOES NOT DESYNC except for excessively long games like 4 hours. Solution? SAVE THE ONLINE GAME (Yes you can save online games) and simply have everyone rejoin and start from where you left off. Desync solved for at least 3-4 hours.
So quit spreading idiotic lies when you know nothing.
Also, HOMEWORLD 1 and 2 are the ultimate online RTS games, without Homeworld, Sins never would have existed!

This should be nuked right? It isn’t Trinity, it’s just the original game + the 2 expansions. You don’t get all the new stuff from Trinity, like the new “Cruel” AI and so on. Trinity is the original game and the 2 expansions combined + some new stuff, this is NOT it!

It’s to be expected, really. If you want, you can read http://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/post.aspx?postid=303512 for a reason for the approach of this game’s developer.
Consoles are simply more lucrative for the mass-market release, and because software development is a business first and foremost for publishers, profits are the primary focus.
Of course you don’t have to shun them for it. You can always buy an Arcade 360, jam a 300GB HDD in to it, grab the latest hacked firmware and never pay for a single game. The lack of being able to play online without the risk of ban is little different from pirating games on the PC, and to top it all off, Microsoft actually loses money for the console sale. Aside from the horrible controls for shooters, it seems like a fair enough deal for the unfair. Spend all the money you save not buying games on a XIM360 so you can game with a mouse, keyboard, or whatever the hell else you want if you must and it doesn’t seem like a bad alternative at all.
This is not Trinity, this is the Original game.

Anyone has a link to the Diplomacy 1.01 by SKIDROW?
A bit of a heads up for anyone who bothers reading this far down:
The pirates in 1.00 of Diplomacy (included in this release) are a little out of control. They are building up some of the most badass fleets I have ever seen (thirty-plus frigates with 7500 combined shields/hull points and 108 average laser damage), so you may want to play with them set to “inactive” until patch\\bonus pack 1.01 is posted.
The 1.2 patch is out. Does anyone have it?
