Its becoming better and better to be a Xbox360 owner over the last few days. First FIFA 2009 now Silent Hill, also Saints Row 2 and also Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 should be out fairly soon. Links below for latest of the Silent Hill series, enjoy!

Silent Hill: Homecoming marks the sixth story in the Silent Hill mythos, and introduces a new protagonist to the mysterious town. The story follows Alex Shepherd, returning to his hometown of Shepherd’s Glen to investigate the sudden disappearance of his brother and the strange occurrences taking place around town. Shepherd unravels a tale that takes him from his boyhood home to the fog-shrouded streets of Silent Hill, facing the darkest horrors of his soul to find his missing brother.

This game features all-new graphics that bring the fear and terror of Silent Hill alive like never before. Alex must survive the terrible denizens of Silent Hill using an all-new enhanced combat system that provides a wide array of attacks and counters. Along the way, Alex will encounter a variety of weapons to battle these horrific monsters and solve deadly puzzles, discovering the darkest secrets of Silent Hill. Silent Hill: Homecoming also features an all-new soundtrack by acclaimed series composer Akira Yamaoka.

    PAL will be out in anything from overnight to a week from now, as per most other games, you know how the drill by now.

    Looking forward to this after the shoddy mess that was AITD5

    actually the pal release is set for the 30th of oct, its also banned in australia (lame) so it might take a few weeks, hopefully maybe they will leak the pal version sooner then that

    @ 15 Sanna: if your console is pal then you can only run games which are either region free (which this game isn’t), or if the game is region for your country. The region is listed above. if you live in the usa, then ntsc, if you live in places like the uk and australia then its pal.

    Sweet!! Can’t wait for the pc version… At least I hope it’s releasing for pc… :D !

    As for working PAL or NTSC… Did you buy your 360 in North America or Europe/Asia/Japan? Depending on the region you’re located in, you’ll either play NTSC or PAL.

    hmm im not sure, since ive got a download limit im not willing to download 6 gig until someone can confirm 100% it works with PAL…..

    NFO says USA, JAPAN, ASiA doesnt mention anything about being Region free

    Ahh damn, few more months until PC release. Guess I’ll have good time to sort out my stack of porn to kill the time then :P… hopefully the new team didn’t “water down” the creepiness I fell in love with the series, otherwise it looks awesome.
