    @ 121

… are u running it at max settings or lowest settings… somewhere in between maybe ? i’d drop ur settings down a bit.. maybe lower resolution … if not… using saves to bypass cutscenes is a possibility… but honestly if i couldnt view the cutscenes in a silent hill game… i wouldnt even play it… however if u could find recordings of all the cutscenes online and watch them that way as the game progresses i guess it wouldnt be so bad… kind of a hassle tho… if i were u… i’d beef up my ram a bit… dont think 1 gig will cut it unfortunately :(

well let’s resume what I tried:
    1. I play the game at various resolutions, actually all suported by my monitor, works perfectly until some cutscenes, not all of them, begins to halt and you see them as slide-shows.
    2. I took some of movies and cut them, they are at high resoutions, I made a bik file for example from 57 mb to 557 kb, I cut a part of 0,8 seconds and bring it to a resolution of 640×480, also works with glitches. i did that for making movies to run smooth, was a nice try though.
    3. after I made the cutting part the sound in some movies is not audible, for example the music and sound effects are present, the actor voices are not.
    4. its not a problem of systems, everything that works on ps3 works fine on my computer too, no exceptions here!
    5. as I heard the producers finally recognise that are some “minor problems” with video and audio codecs of the game so they will put a remake on february 2009.

if you are not convinced look in forums on this topic, pc versions and ps3 and you will see many many complains. the ideea is that a performant pc, a jumbo-jet pc as I like to say its a comercial view, and people dont want to see that they made mistakes or that are other solutions for their problems, they are shallow or that technology push them to do things that actually they wouldnt do for a new pc. theres a philosophy of technology here, I let you discover it.
anyway if you could help me with the saves I would apreciate the effort, if you dont want to I say to you here farewell. my mission here is done.

p.s. there is something that you should learn in this life: nobody wants to help you, everybody imply that they would help you, actually nobody will help you in fact, they are quite self-satisfied that a person who couldnt affort a new pc are from their perspective lower than them. Thats why people thinks if they work hard enough they would buy their own products and are the owners of their life, a deceptive logic if you ask me.
A pc they thinks, as the car-owners, that means power and a potent person, something like a ferrari next to a wolksvagen, thats today a dual-core next to a pentium 2 or 3. we are living into a shallow world, and its nothing you can do about people, they think they have control, in reality they are slaves on their own planet.
well, thanks anyway, and for listening to my babbleing of dissapointment for the future of reason and human kind.

    @28

I drive a little diesel van, it suits my needs. I’ve owned 2 litre turbo’s – too expensive on petrol & insurance, but the ONE thing I don’t mind spending money on, as it is an all round entertainment system – is my pc.

BTW, do you own a pentium 75?

well mister the voice if you are a shallow person you will never understand the beauty of reason. thats why you buy ultra-performant pc because you are shallow and you lack the courage to think, you are not condamnable, you are a product of your own times.

besides that I dont want to sustain a capitalistic view, a system who lack the posibility to sustain the mind and promulgate materialistic view, a blind folded on the human eyes.
you see there’s a contradiction between us: I am a philosoph, you like the comodity of technology. which one do you think helps you in need and who is the one who fails you first? I am curious how you think, besides your sarcastic views. think for a second that when a crisis arise the energy needed by your jumbo-jet wont flow anymore and you are render helpless. what are you gonna do then? I have my mind and I’m prepared for this kind of situations.
    life through reason.

there is no fuel in crisis, you idiot. maybe if you piss in it will probably work after you stupid egghead. jeez I’m surrounded by morons. what a f..k I did to deserve to be born here? nobody asks me if I want this body, this life, perhaps its a test.

perhaps you want to iritate me, what a clever boy we have here. common do you have more? come on gimme your best shot. thats all you got?

look dude, from a hundreds of posible answers I choose this: you stay with your super-computer and I gonna enjoy a good book, ok? I could make a flame war, I understand a long time ago that “dont try to learn a pig to sing, it will irritate the pig and will waste your time”, so is useless to talk afterwards with you. you are born as you are you will die as you choose.

I just wanted the save-games, was so much to ask? was so hard to put that file on net? its about your ego here, not a file, you have something and others dont, perhaps this amuse you in a faustian way. so be it, I wait until february, something you will never have: patience and spirituality. I am hppy that I am an intelligent person while 6 billion people waste themselves.
    adieu mon amis.

apocalypse is here, are you prepared for it? :-D guess not.

Runs perfectly on my computer. No jagged edges or any likes of that. I have to say I love Megaupload the most tbh. I know megashares is good too so I should check it out someday. If people are wondering, here are my specs of my system that makes this game run good:

    Intel Quad Core Q6600
    Geforce 9800GTX (512MB)
    2GB Ram DDR2

You DONT need a Quad Core to play this game high end. A videocard like the one I have is a must if u dont want jagged edges and such to show in game (In other words no AA functions)

I just want to let you know that I found the file with the savegames on net I am playing it after the pletora of movies from the family house, I am at the police station.
was so hard to post that file on megaupload or other site enjoyable by you?

I wanted the save file that was all, now I have it and I want to transmit to you that you deserve this life, you are all shoples and not realize that, you just want to play, you are all zombies in the hands of the masters of this earth.

nobody needs you, I just wanted to use you, I couldnt so I had to find other sources. you are just tools, pawn in the game, I use people like you everyday and they dont realise that, they see me as “a good person” who wants to help them, you are all morons, idiots and you dont make distinction between real and unreal.

this is my last post so dont bother to answer, I dont need this site anymore.

If you try and play a BluRay disc in an ancient CD-ROM do you expect it to work?

If you want cutting edge graphics with 16xAA on your 5 year old “off the shelf” system do you expect it to work?

Don’t complain that your crappy old PC or Laptop won’t play the latest cutting edge graphics. You want to pirate everything and don’t want to even fork out the cash for an upgrade to your hardware. Let alone spend money on a game you downloaded for free and probably won’t even pay for if you do enjoy it. Scene releases are for those that contribute and support developers they like. Open your wallet or STFU!
