Here’s RELOADED again with a new game.  It’s the third game in the Civilization IV series.

Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Colonization is the third offering in the award winning Civilization IV series. A re-imagining of the classic Colonization game Sid Meier created in 1994, Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Colonization is a total conversion of the Civilization IV engine into a game experience in which players will lead a European nation on their quest to colonize and thrive in the New World. Players will be challenged to guide their people from the oppressive motherland, discover a New World, negotiate, trade and fight as they acquire great power and battle for their freedom and independence.

    I have bought pretty much all the Civ games in the past, even when I downloaded BTS since it was released before the UK release date, but I am refusing to now, since BTS players have been abandoned by Firaxis/Sid Meier, without the un-official community made patches the game is pretty much ruined!

    Thanks for the post, Frado! But this is either the second or forth game in the Civilization IV series, depending on whether you include add-ons or not. Definitely not the third!

    It works fine.. NOT an expansion just a surprise at being able to fit on to a CD.

    AC with new graphics would be nice, and hopefully they could learn from the past
    1)Different and viewable ground/resource graphics
    2)SOME clue about what the new units are/do

    Colonization is COMPLETELY different gameplay than the civ series so if you do nt get it right away give it more of a chance.

    As to the Native Americans, you can play as the French which seem to have a good relationship at least at the start of the game, I think you can probably play the game without screwing them over

    Do not know for you guys but Colonization of Sid Meiers was made really a long time ago, i remember using my x486 dx2 to play Civilization 1 and Colonization by Sid M. really awesome for that time even i played Col last week and i have been dreaming for a improved Col ever since it was made and now it is the time to check this one out - pretty much the same EN,FR,SP and Dutch in the “New World”!

    I just got this game. Its fairly cool, and very much like the original.

    The only “problem” is that you have to make sure you keep the indians happy or they will own you, even at the lowest difficulty. Seriously, its incredible.

    However, if they kill you enough, have will say they’ve had their revenge, and declare peace. LOL.

    Also, don’t build right next to their cities.

    @50 Hehe, I remember myself playing Civ1 and Colonization on my 286 with 1MB RAM and B&W monitor back in 1995 :-)) I still love all these Civ games.

    I downloaded it yesterday and installed today.

    I have a 8800GT and the game keeps crashing the drivers (or vice-versa?).

    Is anyone experiencing the same issues?

    I have 8500 and I have the same problem… i thought it was the crack, but i tried the multi5 nodvd fix and I still have the same problem… sux! I can’t get a couple of turns… ;-(
