Guys from OEM bring us the CAM of the new highly acclaimed horror, Shutter. The trailer for this movie looks pretty good but I most likely wont be getting ripped off by going to see this at the movie theater. Hopefully a TS will come around sometime soon so that when the R5 comes out, we won’t have to use the audio from this release.

Quality: The video is a bit dark and grainy but the audio is actually pretty good for a cam. Wait till at least an R5 as its hard to make out the faces and what’s happening as its just a cam, nothing great.

A newlywed couple Ben and Jane move to Japan for a promising job opportunity - a fashion shoot in Tokyo. During their trip on a dark forest road they experience a tragic car accident, leading to the death of a young local girl. Upon regaining consciousness, they find no trace of her body. A bit distraught the couple arrives in Tokyo to begin their new life. Meanwhile Ben begins noticing strange white blurs in many of his fashion shoot photographs. Jane believes that the blurs are actually spirit photography of the dead girl who they hit on the road, and that she may be seeking vengeance.

    I Think this is a remake of Thai horror with the same name, Shutter. Ben=Tun, Jane=Jane. You guys should watch that original movie instead. Trust me it’s a superb horror. As always, the original asian horror better than american ramake. Just like the ring and the eye.

    NOTES:
    This is a re-encode of the original dvd5 r5……with the audio used off ilt 2.0.
    I know this is going to be very like the other releases,but have been asked to do my version,so
    here you go.
    Well done to ilt2.0 for the audio syncing ;-)

    WORK DONE:
    Firstly i encode the dvd5 to xvid with a two pass,set on the highest settings…..i’ve then used the original russian audio
    for the intro and for the end credits….so now there’s audio start from the start til the end…..also had to boost the volume
    on the russian audio to 200%.
    For the main movie part i’ve used ilt 2.0 audio but i ran it through a light hiss removal and messed about with the EQ,is cam,but
    i’ve tried to make it better.
    The video has only been slightly and i mean

    Srsly this is just a remake of a great THAI (not Japanese) film released in 2004!!! Why make kae a remake of a 4 year old film, is it that hard to watch the original with subtitles… ffs.

    I would give the original 4.5/5. Really enjoyed the part when the reason behind the migrane/shoulder ache was revealed. Thai copy with Eng sub is best for watching this. Stay away from the remake - it’s cr@p. ;)
