The what seems like endless tie in game for the movie has continued with UNLEASHED releasing a EMUDVD and then ViTALiTY releasing the fully cracked version of Shrek the Third. The game looks like the standard action/adventure game of the previous games that were released alongside the other Shrek films. The game is only loosly based on the flim so you want ruin your film experince by playing this. As Activision/Dreamworks/ Disney want to make as much money out of the Shrek franchise as possible its a game thats being developed for almost every console and handheld gaming device there is, so I’m sure it’s going to be as rubbish as the previous Shrek games and with all the nice bugs that come along with rushing a game out so it conicides with the movie release. I have taken a look at some of the reviews for the console versions of this game and there all rather mediocre, fives and sixes mostly so the PC version should be around the same mark. However if you need something to keep the kids quiet for a couple of days this just might do it.

In Shrek the Third, players adventure as Shrek and his friends to save Far Far Away in a hilariously twisted fairy tale from the movie and beyond. Fans play as their favorite heroes from the film: Shrek, Donkey, Puss-in-Boots, Fiona, Fiona’s rebellious cousin Arthur and her fellow fairy tale heroine Sleeping Beauty. The game takes players on an epic journey through the worlds of Far Far Away after Prince Charming storms the city with an army of villains in order to seize the throne. Players are challenged to rescue pals, face off against Charming’s henchmen, gather collectibles, test their gaming skills in numerous boss fights and engage in various single-player and multiplayer mini-games.
