Shrek 3 OST (2007)
SAW has released another album which is the soundtrack for the new Shrek movie, Shrek The Third. The soundtrack for Shrek the Third is to be released May 15th via Geffen Records. The artists featured on the track include Led Zeppelin, The Ramones, Fergie, Macy Gray, Wolfmother, Matt White, Trevor Hall and a duet between Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas, singing a cover of Thank You For Letting Me Be Myself Again.
Fergie’s cover of Heart’s classic Barracuda and a duet between Eddie Murphy (as Donkey) and Antonio Banderas (as Puss in Boots) on Sly and the Family Stone’s Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Again) lead the soundtrack for the upcoming movie Shrek the Third. The Geffen Records disc is due in stores just before the DreamWorks film opens later this year. Murphy has previously sung the Monkees’s I’m a Believer and Ricky Martin’s Livin’ La Vida Loca as Donkey on the first two Shrek soundtracks, which have sold 3.6 million copies in the United States alone.
The album will also include Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant Song, Paul McCartney and Wings’s Live and Let Die, Harry Chapin’s Cat’s in the Cradle, the Ramones’s Do You Remember Rock n Roll Radio and eels’s Royal Pain. Songs by Wolfmother, Macy Gray, Matt White and Trevor Hall round out the soundtrack.

The OST of Shrek is one of the most attractive elements of the movie to me.Although I haven’t got the third, I don’t think it will disappoint me.
