The great DiAMOND brings us another fantastic DVDRip release tonight. This time it’s Shooter, a movie which I saw at the theaters a few weeks ago and really enjoyed! The last best release for this was only a TS so a DVDRip is great. This movie comes to us on 2CDs and with AC3 sound, which is always a great addition to me. Quality is perfect, as we could expect from DiAMOND. Enjoy!

    Who gives a fuck about this ’scene’ talk. People that DL DiAMOND call themselves pro’s? Damn nerds. The real pro’s won’t bother downloading AVI’s they’ll just get the full 4.6GB file.

    Not even going to get into it, but let me just ask you a quick question.

    If aXXo is part of the scene, then why aren’t his rips indexed on scene release sites such as RLSLog, nForce, VCD Quality, ORLY, or Dupecheck?

    I’m fairly confident you do not understand what “the scene” means. I could go out to BlockBuster, rip a DVD, seed it and be a part of the movie piracy “scene,” and not be a part of “the scene.”

    I’ve already said this, but the scene is about two things: quality and speed. These same two things that aXXo releases lack (relative to the required quality of scene releases). I’m not saying that there isn’t a niche aXXo doesn’t fulfill; clearly there are a great amount of people who do not need surround sound on a release, but that does not make him apart of the scene by any means.

    I know that everyone said the audio is in AC3, but why won’t it decode for something such as Winamp or a Divx player? Would there be a better player out there to use for AC3 audio?

    Download whatever the hell you want. aXXo? The scene? Both? Good for you. Just stop arguing over which is better, more leet, or for the masses. Nobody cares. If a person is adamant about their choice, stop trying to convert them. People are stubborn and it’ll take more than “aXXo is shit hurr!! no scene is shit hurr!!” to convince them otherwise.

    If you’re complaining that this site doesn’t list aXXo releases, read where it says “hot info about new scene releases”. aXXo isn’t part of the scene. Movie piracy? Yes, but not the scene. aXXo releases are listed in many places on the internet, so unless the mods decide to change their policy, go there and stop trying to change this site.

    These numbers are taken directly from nfo’s for Shooter:

    DiAMOND:

    Fact 1: aXXo releases are smaller, therefore more convenient to download and will be more compatible on older hardware.

    Fact 2: aXXo releases of 2 hour+ movies on 1 disc (like Shooter) have a lower audio and video bitrate, and have a smaller resolution.

    Fact 3: You can download whichever one you want.

    Whenever a DiAMOND (or scene, for that matter) release is reported here, why does the board degenerate into an aXXo vs The Scene shitfest? Is this rlslog’s equivalent of Mac vs PC arguments? Or XP vs Vista? Oh look, this post has just added to the shitfest.

    I prefer scene xvids over aXXo xvids. That doesn’t make me a pro and that doesn’t make aXXo fans n00bs. (I used to think that before, but these discussions are getting tedious and boring). Real sceners hate P2P, but that doesn’t mean I won’t source out a scene rip. On the flipside aXXo loves BT but that doesn’t mean that I as a BT user MUST get them. You get what you want, I’ll get what I want. Just chill your egos and shut the fuck up about it.

    @caseyj: you need an AC3 codec so that the audio will play. I personally use K-Lite Codec pack with MPC. It’s not everyone’s favourite thing to use but it works for me. You could try VLC Media Player, everyone raves about it because it uses filters instead of codecs and plays just about everything.

    Anyone care to help me with an audio problem?

    It happens with some of the movies I download. Sometimes the the volume at which they speak is too low while everything else seems fine. Same with this movie and I just to want to watch it in peace without having to change the volume around all the time, trying to prevent myself from going deaf.

    Sound now in sync on mine … after convert with nero… anybody else have this problem?

    @Thought.. U watching it on PC or TV? If on pc play around with sound settings…. If on tv- u might have the same problem as me..

    i downloaded this but i cant get it to work its just a bunch of wordpad files, how do i fix this so i can watch it? it has one avi file but i cant get it to work either on windows, vlc or divix player? please help

    Look, sorry, this movie is no for the taste of the americans nationalists, but the argument is real truth, dont there are more blind who they no want to see. Fantastic realase.
