Shoot Em Up DVDSCR XViD-CrackPots

Nice surprise for movie fans tonight. A DVDSCR of action thriller Shoot em Up starring Clive Owen got released a few moments ago. The picture pretty good overall, there is a blurred property message on the centre left of the screen which is a little annoying but apart from that it looks decent. I don’t know whether there are black and white scene because i have only seen the sample so far. Audio is also decent, nice and clear. However somehow group CrackPots managed to stretch this release on to two CD’s (1.36GB) when its only 86 mins long. A nuke reason right there but at the time of writing this has already been nuked for: no.ivtc_bad.crop_cbr.audio_overcroped_res.not.mod16. Most of this stuff wont bother the casual viewer so my advice is that you check the sample before you leech just to make sure your not disappointed on quality. Previous posts, #1, #2.

Plot: Shoot ‘Em Up is a wildly edgy and inventive action movie with a dark sense of humor which promises to take audiences on a non-stop high-speed ride. Clive Owen portrays Mr. Smith, the angriest, most hardboiled man in the world, who finds himself entrusted to protect the most innocent thing of all — a newborn child. When Smith delivers the baby in the middle of a gunfight, he soon discovers that the infant is the target of a shadowy force that has sent a team of mysterious and endless assailants, led by Hertz (Paul Giamatti), to erase all traces of the baby. Amid a hail of bullets and facing every conceivable permutation of gunfight, Smith teams up with a prostitute named DQ (Monica Bellucci) to solve the mystery as to why the baby’s life is being threatened before this makeshift family all ends up on the wrong side of a bullet. Everyone wants the baby dead. The big question is why?

    it’s a much better copy than this one. I downloaded the sample jpg from demonoid and the sample from here and CrackPots instead of “removing” hardsubs they just cropped the picture. Lousy job guyz!

    This was on Demonoid Wednesday during the day. As far as the quality on Demonoid, it has the water mark not blurred on the left center of the screen and a timer that runs across the top. If somebody could just blur out the watermark on the left center of the screen, the timer is at the very top and not that much annoying and, therefore, the aspect ratio would be normal. But, hey, that’s just my take.

    Ive seen no itvc and cbr audio round but Ive never bothered to download a nuked copy. But this one I do want so can someone please explain? Thanks :D

    The demonoid version has also been v’dub delogo’d (auto blur as you call it)….only done slightly better.
    I dunno why people bother with delogo. It takes a while to do and ALWAYS looks rubbish.

    I keep hearing this but each time I go to download a Demonoid torrent, it tells me I can’t because unregistered users are limited to 3 torrents a week. I have NEVER downloaded a torrent from Demonoid. So, this supposed “you don’t have to be registered to get recent torrents” is either a scam story by Demonoid to reduce the amount of invitations their registered users give out to fellow internet savvy peeps… or every machine I touch suddently gets infected with the “You’ve been here before” Demonoid virus! WTFork!

    Oh, and I’d appreciate an invitation too :D, because Demonoid neverrrrrrr holds open registration. I keep hearing about “2 days last month” kind of statements, but its more like a blue moon and pink elephant to me.

    So… please post the decent copy on a public torrent site so I can download it. :D Thanks.

    Never heard of CrackPots… I’ve heard of crack heads, but that’s a whole different manner :P Anyways, I don’t like the blur messages and stuff, but It’s probly going to be the best quality one we’ll be seeing for a long time, so I’m getting it!

    the BW last a pretty long time, but stuffies release is probably the most watchable, he puts a lot of work into them

    NOTES:

    this release is a re-encode of a screener that had watermarks and timecoded also
    goes black and white every so often,anyway done the usual…….but please
    remember
    i can’t turn sh*t into gold.
    (wish i could though :) )

    WORK DONE:

    Well i’ve ran it through tmpgenc express and cropped the thick black lines from
    the top,bottom and
    both sides……also cropped the timecode off the top.The original release also
    has PPVR12 watermark
    on the left handside,but i’ve blured that out :)
    Left has MP3 this time allowing more bitrate on the video instead.

    This looks like a workprint not a dvdscr to us so we label as such.This rls has the top numbers cropped and the watermarks on-screen blurred out.

    I still dont understand why people use torrents.
    ive been using easynews.com for years now, ok you have to pay $9.98 for 20 gigs, but the files are always real, and up to date by the minute. The download speeds are ridiculous, i have 16meg through Sky and download full movies in under 8 minutes. Use getright and i get speeds up to 1.45meg!

    torrents are so lame and slow in comparison, plus you cant always guarantee you are dl the file you think you are!

    @ Tawton9 : It was nice from you to bring us the UNRATED version of Die Hard 4.
    But unfortunately, the video quality of your file is awful (576×280), the aspect/ratio is wrong as you can see, and this film should deserve a better sound (like AC3 5.1 or at least a high bitrate mp3 -256 or 320-) but not a ridiculous mp3 encoded à 128kbits.

    Sorry to tell you that. :( As I said, It was nice to bring us this UNRATED version, especially as you’re the first one. ;)

    Thanks regardless of the quality - its the best Ive seen so far and its good clean fun if you like that sorta thing….I do ..and enjoyed lots….:)

    hi all, can someone help i downloaded onto comp, and the sound is great..but when i put it onto disc…all the talking is out…can anyone tell me what would be causing this…thanks
