Ship Simulator 2006 Expansion Pack-VLiSO
Group VLiSO released the first official expansion pack for Shim Simulator 2006. I think there’s really no need to describe what is this game about, it was also briefly described in some older post. The original game of Ship Simulator 2006 is required of course.
The first expansion pack for Ship Simulator 2006 features six completely new ships, varying from a historic yacht to a massive modern cruise ship. Unlike the ships already in the game, you can do a virtual walk on every ship of the expansion pack. Moreover, the ships of the expansion pack allow for direct steering using the controls on the bridge.
The six new ships in the Add-On are :
- Cruiseliner
- Multi-purpose cargo vessel
- Fishing ship
- Russian tugboat
- Classic yacht
- Speedyacht
The Add-on pack also has a number of functional improvements for the new ships :
- Walkthrough mode
- Direct manipulation/use of the steering and engine controls on the bridge
- 20 new missions in 4 languages (Dutch, English, French, Spanish) featuring all add-on ships and also including most of the original ships. The missions are more challenging then the missions in the original version. The average duration of a single mission is around 30 minutes and most missions have more then two player ships to control.
The add-on pack includes the upcoming patch 1.7, so it is almost a completely new game. Patch 1.7 includes a number of new functional improvements, also for the main game :
- Added ‘Rate of Turn’ indicator in GPS Panel
- Now bridge controls are ‘on’ always so you can steer the ship from where ever you are in walkthrough mode. (you can still manually turn them off in the ‘View’ menu)
- Added Pressing TAB will now remove all menus, for a clean image
- Added brigde sound (audio folder in installation root, you could put any mp3s there)
- New player ship: workman’s boat (used for assisting tugs) with on-board controls and walkthrough option
- Support for the new Saitek AV8R-01controller with the two levers, which allows the 2 engines to be controlled separately (on ships with 2 engines).

Installation:
1) Unrar
2) Mount
3) Install, when asked for serial, enter: 4 8 15 16 23 42
4) Copy CheckLicenseKeyValid.dll from VLiSO folder over your original located in /channels dir.
5) Seems like the creators blacklisted both PROCYON and nogrp’s serials so the game will go automaticly in demo version. To solve this problem go to License key, and enter any serial you like, press ok. Game is fully functional now!

Was in Miami occasionally watching a cruise ship dock while I was at a deck party. Took like three hours. Can’t imagine that sort of excitement on my PC. Then again, virtual shim’s might be more exciting
can sombody explaine how to get working i have the orginal ship sim collector ed. so what do i do i installed expansion then asks for key cant get past that i move the checklicense key file and nothing cant get nowere.

You should have a file with the name: “vliso.nfo”.With the program: “Damn Nfo Viewer”,which open such files,you can read it.There,there is the proper serial.And the serial is: 3E271-91033-29331-01572.It surely WORKS,
