Shinjuku Incident 2009 DUBBED DVDRiP XviD-DvF
A while ago I posted the DVDRip which was in Cantonese. Today DvF have released the DUBBED version of it. You dediced which one you want. Shinjuku Incident is an Hong Kong crime drama directed by Tung-Shing Yee. The movie stars the well known Jackie Chan in the leading role. I still haven’t had the chance to take a look at this but surely will soon.
In the early 1990s, a tractor mechanic from China nicknamed Steelhead, portrayed by Jackie Chan, enters Japan illegally in search of his girlfriend Xiu Xiu (Xu Jinglei). Steelhead and his friend, Jie (Daniel Wu) meet in the busy Shinjuku district of Tokyo and take manual labor jobs to earn money. When Steelhead finds out that Xiu Xiu has married a Japanese yakuza leader named Mr. Eguchi (Masaya Kato), he decides to remain in Japan. When Eguchi was targeted to be murdered, Steelhead saves his life. To consolidate power, Eguchi formes an alliance with Steelhead to carry out his revenge. Soon, Steelhead has become embroiled so deeply in the ways of the yakuza that there is no turning back.

I agree! Why would anyone prefer the dubbed version over the original? It always sounds akward, and many times they have to change the original meaning just to make the speech match with the lips of the actors. It's just bad…

The answer is simple – because that's your preference or opinion. You like to listen to languages you can't understand while some would rather hear it in the language they know – it's all based on personal opinions which nobody can change but one's own self.

Am I hearing things or does it seem from the sample that they didn't even use Asian voices in the dubbing?
They seem like American voices and it's obvious that the voice from the little girl is that from a woman doing her best impression of a little girl's voice, Lol.

I feel sorry for those who's lives is so empty that they have to control everybody else and what they do…
There are countless examples of movies and TV series that were more successful in their doubt version than in the original.
Personally I like to take in what the camera has to offer rather than to read – otherwise I might as well take the book instead

@51 even when you read a book is always better to read it in it native language, for me is particulary anoying to see how the lips goes out of sync during a dubbed audio, some times like in japanese movies (Kurosawa) it makes more sesnse to read it then to listen to a Bad voice Actor that dosent feel or fully understand the script, then most of the time the full meaning or intention of a very crucial/important sentence is lost.
