Shin Sangoku Musou 5 CHT XBOX360-KFC

This is for all you JAP/ASIA guys around here (7,93% of our viewers – lol.): Shin Sangoku Musou 5 A.K.A. Dynasty Warriors 6. I have NO idea wether this game is okay or not, so I won’t bother you with my opinion. Just play this, if you want.

Based on the epic novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, the genre-defining Dynasty Warriors series depicts the massive battles ignited by the fall of the Han Dynasty when three rebellious states moved to overthrow the Emperor of China. Expanding over the original with a new combat engine, Dynasty Warriors 6 delivers the exhilaration of single-handedly destroying thousands of soldiers on massive fields of combat. The lightning-fast king-fu fighting, fluid animation, intuitive combat system and immersive game environments push the limits of tactical action!

Game features:

  • Developed from the ground up exclusively for next-generation platforms, the breakthrough proprietary engine re-invents the Tactical Action experience and delivers the most chaotic and challenging battles to date.
  • Fighting techniques motion-captured from some of Asia’ leading stunt performers create the fluid look and feel of a modern kung-fu action film.
  • Celebrated characters are completely re-designed with new weapons and signature combat techniques.
  • More immersive environments where players can swim, climb and use the landscape to elude the hordes of soldiers swarming the battlefield. Climb atop fortress walls and jump into the middle of a crowded camp for a surprise assault, then escape on horseback to retreat to safety.
  • Innovative and unpredictable Tactical Action objectives blend seamlessly with fast and intuitive melee combat. Storm battlefield strongholds by destroying massive gates, go on missions to destroy enemy weapons, and defend allied military units from assault. Exploit certain targets for extra items and points.
  • Enemy unit A.I. adapts to player combat tactics, and can track players with tigers on land and patrol boats on water.
  • New Skill map feature allows players to determine how a character develops.
  • With the game’s new Renbu attack system and game controls, players can execute lightning-fast combos and the most dazzling cinematic fighting moves with ease.
  • Partner with a friend in two-player co-operative game play (offline) and charge the battlefield as a team.
  • Fight for the top spot with the Challenge mode’s Online Rankings.
  • Breathtaking visuals in 720p HDTV and 60 frames per second (fps) graphics, with in-game Dolby Digital audio.

God, they barely change anything in each version of this series, and yet I play it every time. It’s really mindless fun. A lot of people get bored of this game, but I never do. I just zone out and enjoy the repetition.

you need your xbox360 dvd drive flashed with the xtreme firmware. You also need a good dual layer burner and some Verbatim dual layer disc.

This game was great. It had quite a few features that are better than is older counter parts. If your into Warriros, this game is great. If you don’t like the other games, than this one isn’t worth looking at.

The graphics look nicer then the older ones but when playing in Co-Op, the textures turn low-res and the draw distance is horrible. I managed to get 900 gamer score in this on the Xbox 360 version but the last 100 points are a killer (1: Get every character to level 50 & 2: Beat every level on Chaos difficulty).

Lu-Bu still owns in this, but I don’t think much of his redesign. Also, I wish the English version (DW6) had the Jap voices, I’m sick and tied of the lame English ones. I rather read subtitles than listen to those cheesy voices.
