this works perfect for me and i have completed the game and created a walkthrough as i do with alot of my games…
If you are getting the problem with the game loading and just shutting down here is a solution…………….
change your desktop to lowest res re-copy and paste the crack into the game folder (overwrite existing files) set your desktop res back to original and then run the game and it will work. it did this perfect for me

To anyone who has the CTD on launch

“Ageia drivers are required to run the game and are automatically installed.
This problem seems to be a conflict with Ageia drivers installed by others games.
You must delete the Ageia drivers installed in the folder of Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin.

1. Open C:\Program Files\Focus\Frogwares\Sherlock Holmes vs Arsene Lupin.
2. Delete NxCooking, NxExtensions, NxFoundation, NxPhysics, PhysXCore and PhysXLoader files.
3. Run the game.”

Worked fine for me.

@20 you need to download the crack for a no cd,(i used the link from @3) copy and paste the crack into your program files/ games folder and you are set to go.

I am tired of all FPS. Unreal 3, Quake ET, Crysis, HL2 ep2, COD4 (COD4 amazingly good stuff), GOW, Time Shift, and that stupid underwater zombie crap. I can’t stand shutters any more. Why not use any of such new 3D engines for some nice dialog filled adventure where shooting someone is just last resort involving consequences. How damn difficult is to do something like that? Why adventures must be associated with “point and click” and 64mb video memory requirement. What about FPA?
