Don’t we have a big one here? IMAGiNE have just come up with the DVDSCR of Sherlock Holmes. I’m sure many were waiting for this one. Luckily, this one is a VERY good DVDSCR which looks and sounds great. There are the usual watermarks but not all the time. I saw this one on Boxing Day and I really enjoyed it, it was great fun. I don’t understand why they’re bashing the hell out of it though. The film was directed by Guy Ritchie. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law respectively portray Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

    The subs are hardcoded on the picture for the French parts.

    And to quell the rumors: yes, Avatar screeners have been sent to some voting groups, but not all, in just the last week.
    It should come as no surprise that they have only been sent out recently this late in the voting season.

    It’s out there now, so hang tight and hope some voter doesn’t care about the wrath of the MPAA and is fond of uploading.

    Fox has finally mailed out screeners for Avatar, in 2D format. (Not to worry: Cameron told me recently that he shot the film to succeed in 2D, which is how it will be initially released in DVD to consumers.) The James Cameron blockbuster arrives in Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences member mailboxes any moment.

    But holding back the screener wouldn’t have impacted piracy anyway, judging by a recent Times of London report that named Avatar the fastest-pirated movie with 980,000 illegal downloads in its opening week.

    Should be nuked, audio is out of sync in a lot of places, just wait for better release.

    I have a fast system and it’s even out of sync on VLC, and no matter what player I use.

    See people this is exactly why hosters like Megashares are gonna outlast RS and hotfile and Megaupload… They require that link removeal requests be put into WRITING!!! and mailed to them. which takes 2-3 weeks to remove the links.

    while yer RS hotfile and MU links are dead in mins/hours my MS links are still up 3 weeks later :D

    and btw… its CHEAP AS HELL 29$ for 6 months UNLIMITED downloads no BW caps what so ever… but ya’ll keep wasting yer bw on 3 files from RS then start all over :D

    I take it this is a “safe” d/l from torrent sites? This title frankly scares me because my friend d/l’ed a cam version and two days later got a letter from his ISP that Warner Bros. was aware that he d/l’ed it (aka “Warning Letter Number 1.”)

    I’d try to avoid using a torrent for this one. With all the link killing going on, you’ll likely get sent an infringement notice from your ISP if you use a torrent.

    i compared the flawless sample with the imagine vid and the flawless has better color IMO than imagine. it is warmer and a little more saturated than imagines. imagines was greyish and cold. the flawless sample was slightly less pixelation than imagine but only in full screen mode. flawless aspect ratio seems to be a bit wider also.

    I’ve tried three times downloading the IMAGINE version from differing sources and each time the extraction flags a corruption in Part 01. I’m going to have one more go to download a FLAWLESS version in the hopes that this isn’t also wrecked. If it doesn’t work then I’ll wait for the full rip.

    @Everyone : The Mediafire Links are still good, i’m still downloading all of them at once, and when i check it, it’s still active, but as usual some of their servers hard to connect to, but if you retry it 10x, you can connect to them, i’m downloading from the hard to connect servers first, then i’m gonna download from the easy to connect servers.

    All of the files that have been divided up into 11 parts are being deleted almost immediately, no matter what name you give to the files.

    If the uploaders would divide the rar’s into varying amounts of files, they would last longer before being deleted.

    Who knows if I can sue rapidshare since they removed my textual file because its copyrighted material?!

    I can understand that if I put video files (zipped or rared) from the movie on there service.
    But in this case, they removed (because of the complaints)my txt file and the reason as they say its because its copyrighted material. This is not true, its just a txt file which I by myself wrote. Freedom of speech?? I can write in my txt files whatever I want and it can not be removed, am I correct?

    Even if you rename the file RS and other host can still delete it. Once you upload a file (rar) it has a unique CRC32 code created, so multiple users will upload the same file, but only one will be stored on the servers to save bandwidth.
    You need to add a txt file or anything that alters the size of the file and the rename so it has a different code and doesn’t get deleted.

    you can’t just change the MD5/CRC of the packed files.

    you need to change the names of the packed files, password protect them with AES-256 (7zip) and use header encryption (to encrypt the file list) after all, 7zip and rar don’t care what the filenames are, only humans do, so make them x56sfe13a861fea.part01.7z with password protection and it has a far better chance of NOT being taken down, or at least taking longer.

    also as others have said, any links posted here are usually reported regardless of content because web-crawlers do it automatically for MPAA/RIAA scum

    seems like the war is over, and piracy won the war, cos the links are living longer and longer than at that day :D ,

    btw i feel sorry for the member of Academy that leaked this version, wether it is intentional or not, becos they said it is digitally watermarked for each member, so that they can identified whose member is leaking this movie.

    but this movie doesn’t worth the hype, it’s too long, and has a lot of boring scene, if it’s long but doesn’t had any boring scenes, then i can live with that, but there are too many boring scenes, it seems guy ritchie is trying to add more minutes into this movie for unknown reason.

    i’d say :
    A : 6.5 (most of the times, the words are unclear)
    V : 7 (the movie is too dark, i even has to change my brigthness in order to see it clearly)
