Don’t we have a big one here? IMAGiNE have just come up with the DVDSCR of Sherlock Holmes. I’m sure many were waiting for this one. Luckily, this one is a VERY good DVDSCR which looks and sounds great. There are the usual watermarks but not all the time. I saw this one on Boxing Day and I really enjoyed it, it was great fun. I don’t understand why they’re bashing the hell out of it though. The film was directed by Guy Ritchie. Robert Downey, Jr. and Jude Law respectively portray Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson.

    The subs are hardcoded on the picture for the French parts.

    And to quell the rumors: yes, Avatar screeners have been sent to some voting groups, but not all, in just the last week.
    It should come as no surprise that they have only been sent out recently this late in the voting season.

    It’s out there now, so hang tight and hope some voter doesn’t care about the wrath of the MPAA and is fond of uploading.

    Fox has finally mailed out screeners for Avatar, in 2D format. (Not to worry: Cameron told me recently that he shot the film to succeed in 2D, which is how it will be initially released in DVD to consumers.) The James Cameron blockbuster arrives in Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences member mailboxes any moment.

    But holding back the screener wouldn’t have impacted piracy anyway, judging by a recent Times of London report that named Avatar the fastest-pirated movie with 980,000 illegal downloads in its opening week.

    Should be nuked, audio is out of sync in a lot of places, just wait for better release.

    I have a fast system and it’s even out of sync on VLC, and no matter what player I use.

    Don’t bother.
