Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson’s adventures in 21st Century London. A thrilling, funny, fast-paced contemporary remake of the Arthur Conan Doyle classic.

Season 1, Episode 1 “A Study in Pink”
Sherlock Holmes is introduced to ex-army doctor John Watson who he moves in with and then convinces to help him solve murder mysteries. Their first case together is one that looks, to police, like a case of linked suicides.

    I have to admit, I was a little meh in the beginning of this episode but as the ball got rolling I changed mu mind. This is one of those rarer shows that I think will only get better, the writing ( steve moffat from doctor who’s team) and the ‘feel’ of the show in genral will appeal to fans of similar shows. I really enjoyed the planning and execution of the ideas and plot in this show. can’t wait for the next one, if anyone is having doubts about watching it just download it and see for yourself everyones opinion is differnent as is everyones tastes if you don’t like it don’t download it next time, but I for one will be getting every episode I can, i just hope this doesn’t get canned like so many other good shows now adays……. just my two cents worth, a different opinion always helps I find

    if you like the new doctor who you’ll enjoy this, same writer Steve Moffat who also wrote “coupling” which is sadly missed.

    Episode starts a bit hazy, once it gets going it’s a lot of fun but it drains near the end. Mostly because the hour and a half.. feels it was extended to fit in as much as they could and the plot suffers for it. The run up to the end is very “meh”.

    Maybe the next 2 parts will help it, it’s an enjoyable romp though, more so than most american rubbish, and feels a better use of BBC money (from the british public in our tv license fee) than reality or “judge” shows.

    The reason this is an intresting show is that it is British and has decent writing in it.

    If Disney or Warner Bros. didn’t make it then it’s no good!

    Awesome show…. it will be one of the biggest show on tv today… it is great what they’ve done with sherlock and watson… keep it up and I hope it brings some prizes as well…
