PUKKA just came up with this PROPER for Sex And The City. Reasons are: Dash’s version is out of sync, and got a small bad ratio too. Enjoy! Video sample included.

After moving in together in an impossibly beautiful New York apartment, Carrie Bradshaw and Mr. Big make a rather arbitrary decision to get married. The wedding itself proves to be anything but a hasty affair–the guest list quickly blooms from 75 to 200 guests, and Carrie’s simple, label-less wedding gown gives way to an enormous creation that makes her look like a gigantic cream puff. An upcoming photo spread in Vogue puts the event–which will take place at the New York Public Library–squarely in the public eye. Meanwhile, Carrie’s girlfriends–Samantha, the sexpot; Charlotte, the sweet naïf; and Miranda, the rigid perfectionist–could not be happier. At least, they couldn’t be happier for Carrie. Charlotte still has the unrealized hope of getting pregnant. Samantha is finding a loving, committed relationship more grueling than she could have imagined. Miranda unwittingly lets her own unhappiness–created when Steve admits to cheating on her just once–spoil Carrie’s. After a heated encounter with Steve, she happens to spot Mr. Big and tells him he’s crazy to get married. She’s really only thinking of her own marriage. But her angry remark gets Mr. Big to thinking.

    the DASH release is fine as long as you play it on your computer. i havnt checked the 2nd cd but the 1st cd was good. but it wont work if you play it in a hardware Divx player, ie philips.

    I studied the Dash version and it drifts in and out of audio sync – some places are fine, others are out by a noticeable amount (0.1/0.2s). Very annoying! Also, Dash encoded CD 1 and CD 2 differently, which was dumb and makes them harder to join into one (BTW, why are uploaders still using CD sizes in these days of equal price blank DVDs and high speed broadband?). Oh, and if you are intending to create a single-layer DVD version from this release (or Dash’s), be careful that this movie is very long (2 hours 27 mins) and you may need to tweak your bitrates…

    Just to confirm, I have tried this version (PUKKA) and to me, just as ijustfarted above (#64) said this is OOS. at first I thought it was just an error on my part as I had joined the AVI’s ready to encode to VOB for my standalone, but a check of the release avi (in particular p-sex-cd2) there are pretty severe OOS issues.

    It could be a codec issue on my part (giving benefit of doubt to PUKKA, though I doubt it), so if anyone else who has downloaded this can either confirm this problem or prove it to be a good release it would prove a useful heads up to everyone else considering downloading.
