Can’t speak for evgar, but alse positives with anything named “keygen” is par for the course with most of the supposedly high end AV progs. In any case, CORE does not put out trojans and Outpost found nothing on my copy.

Ok so you are saying that in the case of a keygen we have to trust supposedly low end AV progs.. O.o
(since KAV, NOD32, AntiVir.. all report a trojan)
Anyway well, I know CORE shouldn’t have put a trojan in a release, but in _all_ the programs I have with relative keygen, I have _no_ virus/trojans
At the end it’s your choice whether to run it or not…

Though the CoreCRC checker says that all files are ok.
So if you trust CORE. Then there is no virus and considering the keygen works it appears its a false positive.
CRC Checker doesnt even check any files, remove them and run it

Why WOULD you run a “scene” keygen outside of a sandbox? One benifit? Anything?
The scene are just a bunch of hackers who specialize in reverse engineering software in order to circumvent copyright protection schemes. Not saying that’s a bad thing, per se – just saying that I would certainly not consider them harmless. And even if they are, there’s lots of other jackasses who distribute stuff under scene tags in order to solicit downloads. Add to that all this BS with antivirus products’ false(?) positive results when dealing with this software – who the hell needs the headache and/or the risk.
If only there was a nice, easy (as hell) to use, 100% secure way I can run these keygens without compromising my own computer, and without having to buy a second computer. WHAT?!? You mean there IS?!?! Holy crappola! A sandbox! Who’d of thought that??! And it’s freeware to boot!!

also this stupid craps disconnects every 6 minutes. The same as the previous version is there something up with this crap?
Is the admin page supposed to kick you out or server restart every 5 mins
the keygen works however I question the registration portion. noticing this thing connects and disconnects cant figure out why. and i set the anti time out idle to 60 mins its just restarting every 6 mins the “serv-u management console”
I “trust” my KAV/KIS – yah sure, it’s a CORE release, and yah sure again, in the PAST the CORE releases I DL’d didn’t had anything (at least i don’t recall so).
But that doesn’t mean that the packagers’ system of CORE wasnt infected to begin with. I personally stay away from the keygen.
And sandboxie isnt safe either..best way is using a winXP PE CD/DVD and run that keygen off a USB stick
