Well, there are quite a few low points in the scene where nothing major is released, but then something is released by DiAMOND, which is usually pretty exciting. This is a movie which I have anticipated for a very long time. It stars Will Ferrell which says enough for me. Anchorman was one of the all-time funniest films in my opinion, and I have high hopes for this release (I just pray they’re not too high). Comedy mixed with basketball. Dosen’t sound too bad. In any case, this film should definitely be worth checking out. Enjoy it.

Quality: The quality looks good. Image quality is not as crisp as most DiAMOND 1CD releases have been in the past, such as “One Missed Call” and “Cloverfield“. In any case this is a scene DVDRip so you know you’re getting quality, I just don’t see that extra DMD touch this time around. English and Spanish subs are included.

Edit: DiAMONDs subs are out of sync but iLS have released a subfix: Semi-Pro SUBFiX DVDRip XviD-iLS. Download HERE.

    Ever think that maybe the movie is shot to look the way it is. This movie is meant to look like it takes place in the 70s/80s so it’s not super crisp. Wasn’t theatrically, won’t be now either.

    Man, I’ve been wanting to watch this movie, but I didn’t think it’d be worth the time to watch in a movie theatre (Will’s become the same styled actor in every movie, with his sick perversion and random screams and fights, which seems like a letdown sometimes), I’m wanting to see it now!     Love will ferrell but this is a half serious movie. A few funny scenes but nothing like old school, anchorman or ricky bobby. The oversize cheque and the bear scene are awesome though. enjoy!

    I think he was full of crap about the unrated. After a lengthy search the only unrated uploads floating around are fakes.

    Really no reason to watch this version, they took out a bunch of footage to get it into theaters. It pays to have a friend who reviews movies for a major radio station! I really never have to DL movies any more.

    @152… no sh*t. I’m getting tired of the influx of bs torrent links on here recently (by posters… not staff, of course). I’m getting to the point where if the torrent contains anything but the straight-forward avi, i.e. not zipped or rar’ed, then I’m not trusting it. I’ve had more fakes in the last month than the last year or two. Every time I get 20+ rars, they uncompress to a password-protected zip. Very friggin’ annoying. So everyone posting mininova links above deserves a good smacking. :| Knew I should have stuck with adrive from the beginning. :|

    PD: Diamond is one of the best group in the scene. I don’t care if a comedy movie is in one disc… It’s a comedy!! who care about put this in 2 cd’s anyway. I would like that science fiction, fantasy and musical movie were in two disk. That are my famous words ;D

    Jay – the hECTOR version is NOT the UNRATED version!!!

    Do not be fooled everyone.. its the EXACT same release as DiAMOND and the exact same running time.

    The UNRATED version are usually 5-10 minutes more in length, give or take.

    So, if anyone gets a REAL LINK to the REAL UNRATED version.. please FYI us!!

    Turner – All movies should be supplied with subs (if available) for people who don’t hear well, or watch in noisy locations (airport, at work, etc.). You can’t understand what half of these mumbling actors are saying these days with extremely loud 5.1 background noise anyway!
