Few days ago we posted “normal” DVDRip of “Semi-Pro” released by DiAMOND. And there was a lot of questions when unrated will came out? Here is it by ESPiSE. Enjoy it.

Plot: Will Ferrell stars in Semi-Pro, an outrageous comedy set in 1976 against the backdrop of the maverick ABA - a fast-paced, wild and crazy basketball league that rivaled the NBA and made a name for itself with innovations like the three-point shot and slam dunk contest. Ferrell plays Jackie Moon, a one-hit wonder who used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song “Love Me Sexy” to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team. But Moon’s franchise, the Flint Michigan Tropics, is the worst team in the league and in danger of folding when the ABA announces its plans to merge with the NBA. If they want to survive, Jackie and the Tropics must now do the seemingly impossible - win.

    Semi-Prooffers up two different cuts of the film – the theatrical and the uncut, “Let’s Get Sweaty” version. The uncut version offers a nice balance of additional jokes and character sequences, and while some of the slightly tweaked versions of the conversations and commentaries are admittedly funnier, Semi-Pro’s problem was never in needing additional character beats. The uncut version appears to push the fi’ms R rating a little harder than the theatrical cut to some mild benefit. While audiences might be better off watching the extended cut, the versions aren’t as dramatically different as the alternate edit of Ferrell’s earlier comedy, Anchorman.

    Unrated version(s) of movie always have from 2 minutes up extra material you wont see in theathre/normal edition. Its mostly nudity and similar other stuff that some people might get offended about. Basicly, if you havent watched it yet, go grab it. If you have and you really liked it, go grab it and if didnt, dont bother :p

    1st answer, by Martin:
    “unrated version usually contains rude language, cutted scenes, sex references, nakedness and other 18+ stuff”

    2nd answer:
    “It means its not rated. Movies released in theaters are rated by the MPAA (G, PG, PG13, R, NC-17). Often scenes have to be edited or cut because the MPAA finds them too offensive for some reason or another.

    This is the full, uncut, unrated film.

    Watch the film “This Film is not yet Rated”, its a good documentary on how the MPAA system works and may be corrupt.”

    Thanks for your trouble, but I could only make 2/3 of the way through it. There are some funny parts but nothing great. The script was stupid so they compensated with profanity. I’ve accepted the fact that Will Farrell can only play a clueless moron. Harrelson is still doing the SOS, too. This isn’t worth downloading for free. If I had bought this DVD, I would kick my own @ss! HARD!
