Here is a HUGE pack from me today that i hope you guys will enjoy, its the COMPLETE DVD rips for all seasons of the popular Seinfeld. Im sure i dont really need to explain to almost all of you who/what Seinfeld is, but for anyone that doesnt know its a comedy show that aired from 1989 – 1998 created by Jerry Seinfeld himself with the help of Larry David. Seinfeld is probably one of the most popular shows that has aired on US TV and was nominated for a lot of awards and winning many as well including Outstanding comedy in 1993, Best TV series (Golden Globe) in 1994 and many more. Seinfeld is constantly referred to as “The show about nothing” because there is no actual continuing storyline. It showcased the lives of four friends who would discuss their lives and daily activities.

One of the most watched television shows of the 1990s, “Seinfeld” is a true-to-life comedy series that follows the events of a group of friends. The group consists of Jerry Seinfeld, a stand-up comedian who questions every bizarre tidbit about life; George Costanza, a hard-luck member of the New York Yankees organization; Elaine Benes, a flashy woman and book editor who is not afraid to speak her mind; and Cosmo Kramer, an extremely eccentric, lanky goofball. Another very notable member of the show is Newman, a chubby mailman, friend of Kramer, and, almost always, nemesis of Jerry.

    @16, 18 – Each to their own. I didn't find the original UK version of The Office funny and I'm English, but I think the US version is down right hilarious. There's a lot I could relate to in Seinfeld which makes it funny for me personally.

    Re my previous comment; I meant 9 seasons. Don't know where I got 12 from.

    Also worth mentioning: I have since bought seasons 1-3 on DVD (and plan on buying the rest, slowly!), and the order of episodes was slightly out in one of them – I think it was season 2, but not sure. It doesn't affect it, there's no running storyline until season 4.

    The people who think Seinfeld is neither funny nor witty must be German, 'cause Germany is one of the few countries(but probably the only one) where the show was not successful. Jokes aside, Seinfeld is funny, most of the times hilarious. The only reason not to like the show is Seinfeld who simply cannot act but he is not supposed to since he plays himself. Genius!

    @ 38: Well, I am German and I think the show is pretty funny, but surely not the best comedy I've seen so far.
    But that might have to do with the fact, that in Germany, we are only able to watch the US-imported TV-Shows and movies completely DUBBED. We don't even have the possibility to switch to the original language, which is a shame, since it is so easy to provide a second audio-channel.

    But, to the point: I guess, this is the main reason, why some shows just aren't that successful in Germany as they are in english speaking countries.

    I recently watched Larry David's "Curb your enthusias" on German TV (dubbed – of course). I had watched all the 6 seasons in English before, and I gotta say… Curb isn't even close to funny, when its aired in German.

    So…. the reason why Seinfeld wasn't that successful in Germany is the frakin' DUBBING.

    @50 PH, the NZB versions have dual audio. The secondary audio is English.

    Friends vs Seinfeld? All I can say is watch Seinfeld episodes The Chinese Restaurant or The Soup Nazi or The Betrayal (personal favorite).

    Those nzb posts are in another language, the person who said it has dual audio I can't seem to get any episodes in Season 9 going in english on my xbox 360 (maybe the 360 player just has a lack of options).

    use something like VirtualDubMod to save the avi with just the English track. Very quick and no re-encoding needed.
    Or watch it on your computer using KMPlayer or other that will let you select the audio track.
