Sam Seed, an insane mass murderer, is scheduled for execution at the hands of Warden Wright. Great movie! Awesome cast, brilliant dialogues. IMDB sucks when it comes to good horror movies (like all the amazing boll movies). This one is like “Hamlet” meets “Hostel”. A must-see! Makes me want to slurp Mr. Bolls sweaty socks. It’s one of the best movies ever made. Forget about “Rosemary’s Baby”, “Shining”, “Halloween” and that other boring old stuff. This one is just IT!

Boll’s movies are so bad. If you’re wondering why they’re so bad, he is the “one take” director, often doing only one take for a scene and moving to another, regardless of whether the take was good or not. I can’t believe people keep giving him money to make movies.

It got ONE POINT NINE at imdb. Unbalanced or not, it got an atrocious score, meaning that almost every single person who voted absolutely hated it. Some of worst looking movies get scores around 5 or 6 at least due to the inevitability of *SOME* people keeping it afloat with good votes.
It looks like steaming pile, and it doesn’t surprise me that there is a small audience out there who like it, people suck at having taste after all. As for “don’t listen to what’s on imdb”, how about I don’t listen to you and see what the vast overwhelming majority think of it in detail?
Is there any sex in it, that usually makes up for a bad plot.

as for the cruelty in this movie…this movie clearly stands out from all others these days but only because of the first 2 minutes of it, showing actual events on a fur-farm somewhere in some slit-eyed country, this means animal cruelty and i dont think its a good idea to use real animal cruelty in a movie, i already hated faces of death because of such scenes, think what you want i like brutality but when it comes to animals i have a weak spot, brutality done to helpless animals is the sickest lowest sh*t on this whole fu**in planet.

Uwe Boll only gets to make movies because of the German government. They subsidize a large part of his budget and basically any kind of profit he makes is without alot of overhead costs. He really doesn’t care if his movies are well reviewed or not he just likes making these movies.
He also did some critic boxing matches were he chose critics that gave him bad reviews to having a boxing match with him. To bad most critics are out of shape fatasses. When the only person with less then 50% body fat showed up Boll backed out.
Ugh… I really hate Boll because honestly all his movies are pretty bad but he still gets a decent budget to make the movies atleast visually appealing… somewhat.
Cmon look at the list of his video game movies, House of the Dead, Alone in the Dark, BloodRayne, BloodRayne II (didnt even make it to film Direct to Video), In the Name of the King. All these movies have made less then the budget. Name one other film director who can still get budgeting for a film with a list of films like that?

The film contains “animal-snuff” at the beginning (which were recorded by the PETA) and uwe boll said that the PETA will receive 2.5% of the money SEED makes… oh, and the corpses were created with real flesh and left rotten for months…
And don’t trust IMDB, ANYTIME. there are always some hater kids/fanbois and the casual viewer isn’t capable of giving proper ratings anyway…

If someone has a link to the uncut version of this it would be much appreciated. I started watching this, but as soon as i saw that this was the cut version i turned it off. Not only is it cut, but it’s pretty significant stuff, and there are big chunks missing. So I would prefer to see the uncut version.

one thing for sure…this movie is known good because of its gore and specific brutal scenes (like the hammer scene) and if thats cutted out for the most then you can assume whats left of a movie like that.
i recommend everyone to dump this release unless you want to watch a bloodfilled gory brutal movie with its bloodfilled gory brutality removed.

@65: the scenes with the dogs are from a chinese fur-farm and there eare plenty of rumours on the internet regarding the authentity of the scenes showing in this peta movie.(just use a search engine, youll find hundreds of articles and discussions about this peta movie, just type in words like “skinned raccoon dog” along with “peta”.
there were people who have expierience with skinning animals (dead animals, not skinning them alive) and they all say that this video was made up for shock factor and do not show the regular daily actions on such a fur-farm, skinning an animal alive would do harm to its fur (the much blood damages it while there isnt much blood on a dead animal which gets skinned) besides that it makes the proccess much more difficult and complicated (as its obvious in this video used at the beginning of seed)
i didnt like those peta scenes as well but there is no need to not watch this movie only because of it, if id be you id watch it but as we see this movie anyway is cut so dont waste your time on this relase, wait for the uncut and skip the peta-footage or cut it out.

a little thought i have to throw in again: someone could think the people making a release of a movie like SEED are well aware of its gore-grade and the typical cuts it gets in different countries, attaching either a “cut” or “uncut” to the release-name would help many people saving their time…but then again who would download a release branded with a word being so fatal as “CUT”

You know that Uwe Boll made a movie based on a (f***ing bad) game called Postal, and started with a bunch of idiots crashing a plane into the twin towers for the promise of virgins, right?
He said this: “I’ll probably get arrested haha”. He doesn’t just make bad movies, he makes offensively horrible movies, based on bad games so that stupid people (you?) assume that’s the face of gaming. You haven’t seen the movie, and the reference to the beginning of Postal is not relevant. Not at all. Why do you even bring it up?
The imdb scores are surely tainted. 847 votes at 1? The crazy amount of low scores are likely from people just like you. They haven’t seen it, but they have a prejudice based completely on issues unrelated to this film.
“…almost every single person who voted absolutely hated it.” The truth(remember what that is?), is that 396 people gave the movie a 6 or higher. That’s not “almost”, that’s not even close to “almost”.
Take a look on this thread, and read comments from people who have seen this movie, and not something else they didn’t like. A lot of people seem to believe that it is a good film. Are they all wrong because they don’t share your unwarranted viewpoint?
Emotional people like you really have no place having an opinion if you can’t keep that emotion based in some sort of reality.

it doesnt matters these days if a movie is hated by “everyone” (…there are always people who like it) or not, whats more important is how many people and media are talking about one movie coz that is the best promotion/propaganda for it, the more people heard about a movie the more ARE GOING TO WATCH IT NO MATTER WHAT OTHERS SAY, a movie is only then very bad if no one even talks about it —> even less people are going to watch it then.
so since the boll haters do the best propaganda for uwe´s movies its logical that they are his truly fans coz i dont remember any boll-fan ever doing so much propaganda for his movies.

Don’t believe that The Signal is a scene release, TOG(or wtf…). Looks like some dude with a screener copy upped it. Weird file size, but it does have AC3 audio, according to the info..

I signed the petition against Boll making any more films. I signed it because I watched House of the Dead and it was total crap. Alone in the Dark was slightly better, but it still sucked. I didn’t think Bloodrayne was terrible, but it wasn’t exactly a good movie either. Note: I have never played House of the Dead or Bloodrayne and I’ve only played a small portion of Alone in the Dark, so it’s not like I disliked the films because they didn’t stay true to the games.
..i dont think boll´s movies are that bad in fact i think he did a good job with POSTAL, but i am a huge fan of the blood rayne games and i have to say boll´s movie adaption failed terrible, the games (especially the first one) had a superb story and cool badass villains….the movie got NOTHING, a lousy story set in some friggin middle-age country and laughable villains…if you could even describe them as “villains” coz theyre alltogether pathetic…compared to the game.
i wished boll would have made an exact adaption of the first blood rayne game, a story involving nazis hunting for some mystic corpse-parts (the skull of beliar etc.) to rule the world (as usual) is always nice to watch and especially the villains there would have been great stuff for a movie, just have to mention the two twisted nazi-twin-brothers or that steroid-filled-oversized nazi-villain with metal-implants on half his face etc. etc.
damn even the short but action-filled movie sequences within the game were far better than the whole movie-adaption.
Could have been better if this film was edited properly..like..how long it took too set Seed up for the big fry, plus other sections as well.. and as for the ending..will there be a second release explaining the first version.Geez.
…where the hell is the uncut version…the next one posting any link to seed probably be so kind to tell if its the cut version again coz i dont know anyone willing to watch this movie without its moneyshots.

even though im an avid Uwe Hater i have to admit that he is getting slowly less horrible. I mean look at the diffference between House of the Dead(his first foray into messing with out heads) and Bloodrayne (thats the most recent one ive seen) you cant say he hasnt gotten better. Again not saying much but i even had to admit that i wanted to see the dungeon siege movie he made, until i saw he was the one that made it so yeah….i guess i am biased. Maybe, just maybe its time to give in again and sit down for some Uwe time… but does anyone have an idea what game this is off of?

We’re all Boll, “me”(well thought out name, by the way…). Most of us are just too afraid to admit our darker side exists. Sheep are scared of almost anything, and yet too stupid to avoid everything but the cold and starvation. Maybe they should give in and attack something that gives them reason to, instead of “sheepishly” defending it.
The problem is “me”, that you really don’t “think” at all.
Personally, I’m far more concerned that more than half of the “people” posting here cannot do so without a misspelling or serious grammatical failing(I realize that some natively speak other languages, so I do not include them in my critique). Imagine the condition of the underwear on these people!
There are free things that will help them correct their errors (and in turn possibly even learn), and yet they either can’t or won’t utilize them.
