It is with great sadness that I have to write this article. The rlslog family has lost a member brother, Sander van den Hout aka ‘Scit‘, one of the most popular staff members here on rlslog being with us for almost 1 year, committed suicide on Tuesday 15th of January 2008. He contributed to the site in so many ways, not just for the 83 excellent posts he wrote for rlslog but for his friendship, comradery and the jokes… good times. He can never be replaced. Our sincere condolences go out to Sanders family, girlfriend and friends, we cannot imagine what this must be like. See you on the other side my friend, my brother… Please honor his memory.

Note: We will begin posting again later this evening, until then let us grieve.

    I came on releaselog and this post really hit me.
    This guy was the same age as my younger brother.
    Rest in Peace my friend.
    I only hope there is more done to help people who are in this situation.

    These news shocked me in a way I wouldn’t had thought before.

    Having thought of my own death so many times… It’s just shocking how these things happen, and sometimes they catch you with someone close.

You surely did not deserve to go that way. When one reads ur posts they gave a slight indication that u were a happy person. oNLY gOD Knows what was really on ur mind.     It shocks me that a 20 year old kid commits suicide…There has to be a very strong reason for him to do that…Don’t want to be rude, but does anyone know what was it? Drugs? Girls? Money? Family? What else could it be?

    That’s really horrible.. I feel sorry for all his friends, and even for him.. he must’ve been really troubled to commit suicide.. I’m really sorry to hear this.

    I don’t know anything about him, but this is always so sad. My brother passed away almost 2 years ago. Age 21.
    I feel with his family. Condolences.
