Where is your proof? The Media? This is not evidence of anything, people cause atrocities, it stupid to blame a belief/religion for atrocities. Have you watched the news lately? Do you not see what the Israelies are doing in Gaza, to Muslims (followers of Islam)? And then you claim this? Did you not see all the innocents that died in Afghanistan and Iraq when the west went in with no reason? and then still you make this claim.

And i know what you will say, look at all the suicide bombings, but these people do not claim to do this in the name of Islam, they claim to be Muslim and do this because of whatever reasons they give, not becuase Islam has told them too. Islam the word itself comes from the word "Peace" and you try to say that Islam caused atrocities. All you people should stop bashing a religion, if you want to watch the documentary then watch it. If you have nothing nice to say about Islam then keep your comments to yourselves. Gain a proper education about Islam before you start to bash it, not an education you gained from reading biased internet based material, but from real practicing Muslims. Learn what Islam is, then express your opinions.

And if you want to argue still, just look through History, no religion has been perfect, look at Crusades, the Christians tore through not just the middle east, but through Europe in violence. When they entered Jeruselam they didn't take it over through peaceful means, they killed, raped and murdered. They killed innocents. Still you bash Islam.

I go back to what the Zionist Jews are doing in Gaza today, more than 600 people have died and majority of them are civilians, they have bombed schools and killed children, babies, families. Still you people claim that Islam is a violent religion, a religion that is full of hatred and worse. You should all think before you express ridiculous opinions about a RELIGION.

Just a note, i don't hate Christians or anyone else for what they have, i hate the people who committed those terrible crimes. So don't go bashing me for mentioning any other country or religion.

Those saying that muslims believe earth is flat, all I can say is that your IQ can't be positive.

The only link between Islam and science was the Falsafa in the 9th century. Muslims inspired by Greek rationalism, founded universities where much ancient knowledge was translated. After that Islam just used their fruits of labor and made very little progress, if any.
Just like christianity, the Islamic world also has a history of book-burning and persecution, which continues even today.
