    I totally utterly amazingly abso-freaking-lutely suck at chess. I play linux chess against the computer and lost in 6-7 moves. I had the computer play me and it still lost :/. But it can be fun after you play chess for 50 years and finally learn the basics.

    any chess fans shouldn’t be getting that pile of dog poo that is Chessmaster anyway, 3.5 gigs is ridiculous anyway

    Gnuchess is about a millionth of the size and just as good

    serious players should grab Deep Fritz 10, it’s almost unbeatable and has huge openings databases included

    I’m trying to figure out if all you guys that are commenting on the size of the chess game are either cheap or poor.

    Do you just not want to spend the money on larger hard drives and faster internet services or do you actually not earn enough money to pay for larger hard drives and internet service?

    @Billy Bob

    I would like to go on the record as having stated many times that I am queer, and yet I also enjoy playing chess as often as I can.

    So there goes that theory of yours.

    @edwin

    I tried this also. How are you able to do it without waking them up though? Each time I gave it a shot, he would wake up as soon as he got hard and before I could stroke him much.

    What am I doing wrong?

  23. edwin
    November 4th, 2007 | 22:58

    @Eric the Midget

    Get him to somehow( :) ) take an Ambien right before bedtime. It works amazingly well.

  24. Wentworth
    November 4th, 2007 | 23:06

    Dudez! An ambien pill can be crushed up into a powder that will easily disolve in anything from beer to wine.

    Works great in pubs! ;)

    @edwin

    let me get this straight…you slip a sleeping pill to your friend in a drink and get him to pass out, and then you take out their penis, get them hard and jerk them off while they sleep??

    chessmaster is 3.5GB mainly because it has really HUGE tutorial (it’s basically complete chess course from basics to advanced strategies) and lots of commented games
    and yeah fritz is “smarter” but if any of you can get even close to beating chessmaster… let me know ;-)

  28. kaynine
    November 5th, 2007 | 03:44

    booboodandee! Normal chess play like us will never beat shredded, junior nor fritz. I enjoy playing chessmaster or yahoo chess(multiplayer) than playing against deep junior10.(Because I can actually win!!)

    November 6th, 2007 | 02:51

    Ok.. I read something a while ago that some guys stripped a 4 gb game from it’s copy-protection totally and ended up around 1gb and the game worked fine. ( Think the article I read was in fact on rlslog.net). Anyway, the bigness of this game might be of the copy-protection. Often we download the game, the copy-protection software and the crack. And the crack puts the copy-protection out of commission. It do not delete it..And as I sayed, I heard these cp’s are a big junk of code.

    The game Chessmaster is fantastic. But the only downside is that it online play isn’t possible as it requires a valid CD key which isn’t there.
