Scallywag In the Lair of the Medusa-ARMADA
It’s hard to believe someone would release game like this in 2008 but action dungeon / adventure Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa was released by group ARMADA tonight. I can’t believe the distributor tries to sell such a title - there are many freeware games which offer way more fun and better graphic. Anyway, it has just something over 100 MB so if you want to give it a try, you won’t complain about wasted bandwith at least…
Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa provides players with a fascinating array of options to explore, making every game a unique experience. Rapius will face dozens of monsters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, various environmental hazards, and deadly boss encounters. Along the way he’ll learn to craft items, drink potions, eat magic mushrooms, smoke fungus, imbibe booze (from cheap Gobbo ale to lip-smacking Moon River whiskey), and much more. Among other things Rapius can become invisible, diseased, hungover, poisoned, and even a werewolf (hopefully not all at once)!

Rapius must also master his lantern, his source of illumination in the underworld. If the lantern is turned up Rapius will be able to see (and be seen!) further into the void, allowing him to make long range attacks on his foes. If the lantern is turned down, Rapius can attempt to creep past danger, sidestepping beasties he’s not quite ready to tackle.
If the lantern is burning hot and bright, oil is more quickly consumed than when the wick is low. While oil flasks are scattered throughout the adventure, knowing when to flare and when to soften the light is a key strategy to Scallywag: In the Lair of the Medusa.

System requirements:
- Windows 2000 or higher
- 120 MB Hard Disk Space
- DirectX9c compatible video card
- MS Compatible Mouse
- 6X CD ROM
Release name: Scallywag_In_the_Lair_of_the_Medusa-ARMADA

Well I don’t have CD-ROM
was there some sort of time warp singularity the designers were stuck in? or is this some sort of n00b school project game?
either way it looks awesome. and i really don’t mean that.
Superb Game!….If u Name it Game…LoL
Can’t we make a kids-corner for the above, Takes them out of the adult world they don’t understand and maybe with some msn added they can chat and play all day.
My CD-ROM is only 2X… damn i can’t play this =/
…and do not read RLS-Staff and -Poster but YOU with your stupid childish remarks.
Well… as someone who has no money, no dedicated 3D graphics card (using my onboard 2x AGP piece of cack) and a P3 900Mhz… I’m quite excited about this one!
Oh, and thanks Slang, those flash games are sweeet. I played to death the predecessor game to the one you referenced, so I’ll check that out too. Don’t forget, some of the best games available don’t have great graphics.
(<– wise teachings of a cheap ass!)
it ok but little boring when i got to 6 level and die have to start over you cant save
Is this game better than halo 3?
lol you can’t even save ^^
pfff…ridiculous
i love the comments in such games you guys are really great keep on
The best posts here are crap movie and games. The comments are great!
@17 Jack Pinoski - try Sacred Plus and its expansion Underworld ,although a bit old,its the best Diablo clone around and has twists of its own as well. I saw some1 recommending NWN ,but its quite different to Diablo’s hack’n’slash as its based on D&D rules making the game far more complex. Any1 looking for h’n’s fun will love Sacred and its co-operative lan mode as well.
