Sandboxie v3.02 Incl Keymaker-EMBRACE
I think this one might be useful for all of us here. It have kinda innovative approach. Read on…
Tired of dealing with rogue software, spyware and malware? Tired of spending countless hours removing unsolicited software?
Try Sandboxie.
When you run a program on your computer, data flows from the hard disk to the program via read operations. The data is then processed and displayed, and finally flows back from the progam to the hard disk via write operations.

For example, if you run the Freecell program to play a game, it starts by reading the previously recorded statistics, displaying and altering them as you play the game, and finally writing them back to disk for future reference.
Sandboxie changes the rules such that write operations do not make it back to your hard disk.

The illustration shows the key component of Sandboxie: a transient storage area, or sandbox. Data flows in both directions between programs and the sandbox. During read operations, data may flow from the hard disk into the sandbox. But data never flows back from the sandbox into the hard disk.
If you run Freecell inside the Sandboxie environment, Sandboxie reads the statistics data from the hard disk into the sandbox, to satisfy the read requested by Freecell. When the game later writes the statistics, Sandboxie intercepts this operation and directs the data to the sandbox.
If you then run Freecell without the aid of Sandboxie, the read operation would bypass the sandbox altogether, and the statistics would be retrieved from the hard disk.
The transient nature of the sandbox makes it is easy to get rid of everything in it. If you were to throw away the sandbox, by deleting everything in it, the sandboxed statistics would be gone for good, as if they had never been there in the first place.

Intresting…
humm!veryyy niiiiice!keep up with the good work christian!
basicly this is how the regular backups work in a well managed computer enviroment
but for a joke this was a good one
crap
Great for running Keygens or other programs that you’re not sure are completely clean.
this sounds confusing. and also sounds like a processor hog.
but then again, i’ve never heard of it.. so what do i know??
^ less than nothing!
It’s like DeepFreeze but you control which apps aren’t allowed full access to the HDD.
So this is or is not a joke?
it seems like a decent, fairly easy to use, program.
Thanks for the rapidshare links, rlslog, but you didn’t need to add a 2+ mb file to the file, just to get some premium points, you should get enough with all the other programs you host.
Peace
In this day and age, what an absolutely fantastic program, seriously.

Weird… my name started to change to “the king”
Yeah… don’t abuse the Direct Download link cause I’ll remove it!
That means don’t post it anywhere else!
good way to test stuff out…especially keygens
I download the software free from the website. Am I missing something?!
And this program is VERY useful. Like JoshuaMH1 said, you can run keygens without being afraid of embedded virus and such. You can also run web browsers to browse unsecure sites. Or any other software that you’re afraid might damage or system, or changes things.
“It have kinda”
Can we please get some English speaking staff?
sweet, this is a cool program, much like running your /home directory as read-only and then make the writes go to a ram-drive or separate partition.
Google acquired a similar program to this called Green Border. Google intends to release it for free under the Google name. They’re currently rebadging everything and bringing the program up to their quality standards.
lol @ some comments. you can easily tell the noobs
for this prog, no need for keygen. the unregisterd is fully functional anyway. this is good for running keygens, testing apps, and even running malware…….
@18
And knowing google, you must check a box you approve the prog to send everything back to google to store and analyze “to improve the app”
JUST NEVER TRUST A RUSSIAN. PERIOD.
Ikarus, u’re an idiot.
NEVER TRUST ICARUS, he’s on his period.
Umm… its a free app, why do we need a keygen tbh?
@ 16.
No you CAN’T!!!
that sounds bizar coolie joolie, I might check it out.
Thnx for teh post!
“if you use Sandboxie for more than 30 days, the software will occasionally remind you to consider paying the registration fee” this is why you need a keygen
@25
Yes it pops up a small message, whats so difficult about clicking OK once every month or so? lol
And what’s so difficult about using a keygen?
This is good thanks man.
@27
Again, for a free app? lol
lol BOB
read 25, BOB
and BOB
stop being a pixelbrain… BOB
ok?… BIB
bye BOB
BIB, sorry for the typo… was laughing…
Just curious.. for those who has tried this, how is this sandboxie compared to a virtual machine? Which one is more processor hog?
I am deeply offended by that typo. May you burn in hell!
Whats funny is that everybody is saying how this app is great for using keygens so they don’t get trojans, and at the same time you fools are downloading a keygen that might have a Trojan to use this app.
Ohh the irony.
@34
What you are forgetting, is that you can install sandboxie, run the keygen inside the sandbox, insert the registration details and clear the sandbox..
Not ironic now is it?
Ha! That shut him up … good point last poster
lmao….I really love all those comments… better then any Peanuts comic
How about register protection?
It does start every program that is started bij the sandboxed program, that´s cool. like mspaint from iexplorer and i saved a bmp file, it got sandboxed
What would be very nice is that you make a ramdrive as a sandbox storage folder (very fast), but i can not find out how to change the download sandbox folder…
anyone?
Agh i found out at top level folder is the folder of the sandboxed files
now for a virtual ram drive for windows
useless program
its more like altiris SVS by symantec i think
