You think Ninja’s and Samurai in modern day Japan would make a lot more sense? Besides, when it comes to Ninjitsu and the martial arts in general, ‘Pride’ (a Japanese based competitive organization) bombed and now American Zuffa owns it along with all the fighters (Ninjitsu, Judo, Karate,BJJ, Vale Tudo, or othersiwse) – So the point is, if it is set in the present, it’s just as plausible to have that crap in the U.S. as anywhere else

P.S. @ If they didn’t airbrush everyone, you wouldn’t walk around falsely believing that one day, when you lift enough weights and make your fortune in pork belly’s, that you’re going to get some gorgeous air-brushed bomb shell that doesn’t exist outside the world of Photoshop.
