Second part of this mini-series, episodes 3 and 4. Again released by FQM. CTU released the 720p version.

PLOT: This story follows Heaven, who at six months old was the sole survivor of a deadly plane crash. The Press had named her Heaven, because it seemed that she fell from the sky. Soon after, she was adopted by the powerful Kogo Family and lived a very privileged life. But then, 19 years later, things take an unexpected turn, when her wedding is attacked and her brother, Hiko, is killed trying to save her, not before warning her that the Yakuza have infiltrated her family. So she breaks free from her family and begins training to be a samurai and fight back against the Yakuza.

    Watching the first one now, all I can say is wow! That’s soooo bad. Everybody is just swinging sticks! Are we supposed to believe its kendo or samurai or whatever? Just another junky ABC special made in US for the US. (I live in the US and I’m still offended)

    @15 Thanks for the mugshot. It doesn’t say anything bad about her, it’s just the reality that MOST everyone on TV is made to look waaaaay better than they really do - and that shot is a straight Hugh Grants blow job girl ‘cracked out’ shot.
    Finally: “Let’s face it, ninja attacks and samurai’s in North America? You serious?”

    P.S. @ If they didn’t airbrush everyone, you wouldn’t walk around falsely believing that one day, when you lift enough weights and make your fortune in pork belly’s, that you’re going to get some gorgeous air-brushed bomb shell that doesn’t exist outside the world of Photoshop.
    You think Ninja’s and Samurai in modern day Japan would make a lot more sense? Besides, when it comes to Ninjitsu and the martial arts in general, ‘Pride’ (a Japanese based competitive organization) bombed and now American Zuffa owns it along with all the fighters (Ninjitsu, Judo, Karate,BJJ, Vale Tudo, or othersiwse) - So the point is, if it is set in the present, it’s just as plausible to have that crap in the U.S. as anywhere else.

    I watched the first 2 episodes and there’s not much to say that hasn’t already been said. The acting is average at best. Heaven/Jenny’s only response to worrying news is to frown or look around while frowning. Her redeeming feature is that she’s quite cute, but that’s not enough to hold up the show. What sucks is that I now need closure to the story so I have to watch 4 more episodes of this… :(
