This app is pretty useful for when you only want your kids or anyone else on the pc for a certain amount of times. I use this app myself and it comes in handy. Isn't the whole point of this software to keep them from making new "friends"?
Guys, for the last few hours, I get a virus warning (some winamp.gif file) everytime I load your page. Maybe nothing but still. Your call.
This site is loaded with crap ads (MALWARE) and you may notice that this PLUS the Newtorrents site will eventually put a bunch of useless crap on your computer without your permission! I rarely come to this site anymore because of it and spent a great deal of time using programs to remove the Malware and Spyware from my PCs because of it.
@Alexander, @WutEvr: Use Firefox + NoScript + AdBlock (two firefox addons) I use them and I DON'T see ANYTHING… no popups, no malware, no ads..

I always laugh when ppl say "Hey your site is giving me viruses" or "This site has too many popups." psst, here's a secret, IT'S YOUR MACHINE, NOT THIS SITE. See above what splus had to say, or clean this virus from your machine.
But that (whether the site is over loaded with ads etc) shouldn't distract us from the overall nastiness of appz like this child control software. reminds me of the sort of people who put 'safety' harnesses (ie dog leads) on their children when they let them walk down the street.
kids are living breathing entities not robots and if we think it is in their best interests not to spend so much time on their puta, there are plenty of ways of negotiating and/or reasoning with the child to achieve that end without making the child feel a prisoner in their own home. And yes I am speaking from experience. My kids grew up in the internet age and have a more balanced attitude towards their computers than most of their peers.
It isn't surprising that the german translation of this product has also been made available because the authoritarian streak in both the german and english cultures is alarmingly close to the surface.
