Here it is, Saints Row 2 for PC. By group Razor1911. XBOX 360 versions were released a while ago. Read NFO for instructions to install.

Saints Row 2 has a gameplay structure similar to Saints Row. On foot, the player’s character is capable of walking, running, swimming, climbing and jumping, as well as utilising weapons and basic hand-to-hand combat. After Saints Row was produced and work begun on Saints Row 2, the streaming engine was completely rewritten. Because of this, new air-based vehicle types and online co-operative play have been made possible, along with many new major improvements to provide a smooth, interactive world, with significant decreases in terms of glitches, bugs and pop ins. The game incorporates three difficulties: casual, normal and hardcore, which can be changed at the beginning of the game.

Over 40 story missions with additional bonus missions take place in a transformed Stilwater that is over 50% larger than before.
Limitless Customization Play as fully customizable characters that are male, female or something in between. Cribs, vehicles and even gangs all have customization options.
Multiplayer Co-op full story campaign has seamless integration (for example one player drives while the other shoots).
Competitive multiplayer pushes the boundaries of immersion in a living Stillwater environment fully populated with police, innocent bystanders and rival gangs.
Planes, helicopters, motorcycles, boats and cars can be piloted and used as weapons. On the ground new combat options include melee, fine aim, and human shield

Don't run this during the same computer session (ie running steam during the same time the computer is on as this game) Valve can and will detect you running this (via the cracked steam.dll it uses) and ban any legitimate accounts you have.
However if you want to go to the effort of disabling steam at start up and then restarting, and once you're done playing restarting again that should work fine.

Ever since the GTA IV PC fiasko I've been waiting this one, just got my DL done and installing. Sure hope this one lives up the hype.

And you can't trust "pro"-reviews these days (IGN, Gamespot and such) they're paid or very biased, look for user ratings instead.

I'm downloading this via UseNet but I've been reading many comments about the game not working on Vista x64 – can anyone here confirm this?

Well, the game looks horrible even in max settings and still runs like crap in high-end machines. (And runs like crap in low settings too) And it doesn't support the most basic widescreen resolutions, it looks even worse.

The game content itself is very generic; nothing ground breaking and the controls are very annoying. I say this is even bigger fail than GTA4 was.

These ports are getting out of hand, I have amd phenom 9750, 4gb ddr800 and 2 hd 4850 in crossfire and can't even pull 30fps at 1920×1200.

You guys talking about this game looks like or runs like crap are either on older outdated machines or in need of some updated drivers. i dont know which but i can say that the game is running fine on my Dell XPS 630i. My Specs are:

Intel Core 2Duo E8300
Nvidia Geforce 8800 GT 512mb
2gb Samsung DDR ram
Windows Vista Home 32bit with all updates

I have another problem. I installed the game and when i started it an dll error occured. then i installed directx from the image. now the game starts, but i get a blackscreen.
anybody got a solution for that.

Oh my god! It work perfectly, how can i do this one :

1> Setup 7-zip
2> Right click on rzr-srw2.001 and extract it by 7-zip
3> we got rzr-srw2.iso
4> using poweriso mount it to virtual drive
5> installing, it take 10 or more time (don’t bother the running status, just wait and wait). Let’s it automatically. You can open the Task Manager to see the Running Proccess of CPU
6> crack and play it.

@ 115 there is no uninstaller build in.. so i think we will have to manually uninstall the game by deleting the game directory and the short cuts.. i believe there are no keys in the registry so its just deleting the game folders..

this game sucked..

Ive got Vista 32bit AMD Dualcore X2 6400+ 3.2ghz, 2gb DDR2 RAM and a Nvidia Asus Geforce 8800gt 512mb.

It doesnt work for me. Unrar-ed with 7-Zip, Mounted ISO, Tried installing with rzrsetup.exe, but it only asks for installation directory/shortcut, creates empty folders and goes away.

Its not installing it background(cpu usage %3, saintsrow folder was empty) , does nothing and closes RZRSETUP.exe process.

Can someone help? Or any other installation ways possible?

my 3ghz quad core with 4gb ram and 8800gt still runs this game just average… what were they thinking, graphics not as good as gta iv and physics seem very unrealistic, it looks like it could have been a good game if it was ported better.

I get to start the game after installing the directx, but after a few days i got an error when trying to load my save file. It is that “Saints Row 2 has generated an error and have to be closed” error, I don’t remember exactly how it goes. Seems this release / game is full of bugs still and needs a fix. Anyone else has this error or knows what I could try to do to fix it?

Yeah so, when I installed the game, the install bar did not move, and after about 10minutes it would open up a folder from startmenu, Razor1911/Saintsrow2, When I run the game, it just gives me an error, after putting the crack inside, and starting the game up, it goes to the starting, credits, or advertisement from the developers, whatever you want to call it, but as soon as its about to go to the menu, it crashes on me, Anyone else having a similar problem?
Mind you im using Vistax64

Updates were required.
Game play was crap. (mainly the car handling)
Uninstaller nonexistent.

This a great game, I prefer this over GTA IV since there's so much more to do in this. But I need the patch in order to play this without lagging super hard.

Does anyone know if a non-steam patch will be released anytime soon? It'd be great if I could actually… well you know, play the game.

But besides the lag, the game is pretty cool. There's a lot of side-play and co-op is very fun. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes GTA-Style gameplay.

To those of you with gamepads or joystick who plan to drive with controller.. there is a bug so when you insert it your camera keeps pointing up in the air and menu cant be used, only work-around is unplug reboot until someone sweet uploads the patch here

Also its impossible to drive with keyboard without this fix.

Before i get this patch i cant see how this game is betetr than gta4 when you cant play it on PC :/

+1 With that, a non-steam patch version of the official steam patch can be the only thing to save this game.

Hope so i cant wait to play this game, but no fun playing it if you cant drive cars and the game is choppy as hell + many other bugs and crap

Been looking for a while and finally i succeeded, found the damn patch woohoo

Its from some weird chinese forum, and it changed my game to english language but atleast now i got better framerate and driving is a bit better too (steering)

@151 It works but i don´t know if is the real patch or not, because yeah it fixed a crash of my SR2 what the 1.1 patch seems to solve but the framerate is horrible, it work now worse than before, with the 1.0 version i got bad fps when driving fast but only sometimes, now with this 1.1 patch is all the time, maybe is the crack who knows.
And the vehicle driving.. i can´t see any change.
And any method for change the language back to the selected one instead of english?.

#152 Yea unfortunatly it wasnt as good as i thought, the driving got a little better and i actually saw an increase in fps but might have been my imagination
But this is still better for me, cos it was unplayable before.
Ill just wait and reinstall when theres a proper one out. , backup savegames

Oh thanks, I was using the exe in the rar that contained the patch files. I didn't know I had to use the one OUTSIDE of it.

For all those who regret d/l this game and the whinging, just get over it. At least you did not actually buy the game.

I have this game, and also found it very disappointing and completely inferior to GTA4.

My notebook specs.:
Vista x32
2gb RAM
2GHZ core2duo
Nvidia 8600m GT 512mb (modified driver). Not over-clocked.

But I must play this appauling game at 800×600 res., NOT fullscreen, low quality (as if the quality is not already bad…).

Another game which had similar setting requirements were Crysis (not WARHEAD), and Assassin's Creed (but only for a short amount of time before the notebook auto-crash-reboot).
BTW, I purchased Assassin's creed and it was still not working. Now that game lies on my table reminding me everyday that "Do not buy a game if it is not worth it or it does not work…". Waste of AUD$80.

where is the improvements in gta4 compared to older gta versions? other than graphics.
where is the parachute?
where are my planes?
way too little fantasy at rockstar they are boring me with gta4.

anyway back to something important.

* General performance increase around 20%. Note that this will vary depending on the both computer specifications and game settings
* 3rd Party controller scrolling issue has been fixed
* Corrected various crashes reported across all versions
* Corrected a crash in "Drive-By" Diversion for Danish version
* Corrected a crash in "Streaking" Diversion for Spanish version
* Removed original frame cap of 32 FPS
* New variable frame cap has been implemented. This will smooth out spikes in overall frame rate
* Players may notice a small hitch when crossing into new chunks in the world. The amount of time for this has been reduced for recommended spec machines, but may still be noticeable, particularly while driving at high speeds

The one i linked from the chinese site is the same one that goes by the name TOAD.

What we need now is SECOND patch not the same one again.

I installed the game fine on Vista 64, My machine is similar in spec to @92 but the game runs crap without everything low.. I am trying out a non scene patch that I found on TPB to see if any improvements
