SageTV Client v6.4-RECOiL

I just posted the server of this program. Heres the client again its from RECOiL.

TV how you want
Pause live TV when the phone rings or your microwave pizza is done. Pause, skip forward or back to your favorite parts of recorded shows. Live TV just doesnt have the appeal it used to have when you can use SageTV to watch your shows the way you want to.

Will this let me watch Battlestar Galactica and stuff or just crappy tv rips?

So how exactly will this work? Do I need to have my cable plugged into my computer or will this just stream live tv from the internet? I mean, I’m usually not such a noob but have no idea about this software. Seems like Tivo for computers but how do you legally get access to all those shows…hmmm. Do you have to pay or is it free?

Found my answer on wikipedia. Needs hardware. Ghey

Yeah, needs hardware…downloaded and installed, and re-installed my old TV Tuner but apparently it’s not compatible with this program :(

Might have to buy a new card though because the program actually looks pretty nice. And possibly a new external hard drive to store recordings because I remember they could get pretty big when I was using my old card before. Something like a couple gigs for a 30-minute show, though this program might be able to compress better, or a different card. Never really liked mine anyway. It was just a cheap $20 card I bought probably 2 years ago that I used for a while but never reinstalled when I got a new hard drive and re-installed windows.

    Boys,

Just ask your mommies and daddies to forward your next allowance to upgrade your POS computers.

Also, upgrade to Vista Ultimate and you get this type of software built in with lots of addons available…
