Russell has been busy cementing his place as one of the hottest properties in comedy with his BBC6 Music show every Sunday, loads of Mock The Week and Never Mind The Buzzcocks on BBC2, Would I Lie To You? and Live At The Apollo on BBC1, Law of the Playground on Channel 4 and Tough Gig, The Brits and The British Comedy Awards on ITV! But it is on stage where Russell really storms it. A complete sell out at Edinburgh 2004-2006, Russell sold every ticket of his 2007 run before the Festival had even started and couldn’t add extra dates fast enough. His first nationwide solo tour of if.comedy and Barry Award nominated show ‘Wandering’ was a complete sell out success. This DVD is of his second tour ‘Adventures’ which was again sold out, including selling all tickets in one day for London’s Bloomsbury Theatre where it was recorded.

Actually he’s not funny, maybe my previous post didn’t quite convey that sentiment. He also needs to see a dentist, his teeth are all over the place. Personally I’d recommend Frankie Boyle’s new one instead, the guys so politically incorrect it’s unreal, but hilarious.

Saw him in hammersmith last week, it was amazing, Im going to watch this but even he said the show he put on at hammersmith was amazing, I dont think this will beat it!

the guy’s a douche, can’t stand him
This guy is so uncomfortable in his own skin it’s distracting from whatever unfunny joke he’s trying to tell. Occasionally he will make you chortle, but you’ll remember it even more for the fact that he did… rather than the actual joke itself.
Watch Bill Hicks ffs. You’ll never watch any other standup comic again.

only ever seen this guy on mock the week and i cant ever recall him being even slightly funny…so whats his stand-up like?? cant be any worse i suppose!, and it surly cant be as bad as Jeff Dunham can it? boy he was cr@p!!

No idea why this guy is on tv so much he isn’t funny at all.
Saw him do a brief 20 min slot over a year ago, thought he was well funny, and he’s alright on mock the week. Will be watching this with high hopes.
You can really tell it’s Xmas, comedy dvd’s turning up left right and centre!

Saw him last Wednesday in Portsmouth – he was amazingly funny. Highly recommend grabbing the DVD, met him afterwards too, he’s a really nice guy too. If a little uncomfortable meeting all the teenage girsl that lust after him
