Very active HD scene group hV (only scene group who is releasing 1080p rips on regular bases) brings us rip of action comedy Rush Hour 3. To tell you the truth this film sucks, I was bored to death while watching it and good thing it’s only 90 minutes long. Maybe re-watching in HD I will get better impression about it. Few things about this rip; DVD 5 size, hv decided to put DTS audio since the movie is just 90 minutes long so you have more space for better audio track, nice job. What I have heard so far New Line real fu*ked BluRay release by putting low bitrate VC1 encode, this means that PQ will definitely going to suffer. And if you look at the quants (read nfo) you will see what I am talking about, they are too big for this kind of movie and this bitrate (5384 Kbits). Well since this is you only option you know what to do

I just burned some hd rips (TBU) and it looked almost high-def on a 1080p screen.

Hey, when you watch a movie like this you expect cliched jokes and outrageous plots. Rush Hour 3 excels at this providing many laughs, especially with jackie chans butchering of english. If everyone just made dramas and cgi adventure comedies movies would become just as cliched as this.
Don’t bag a perfectly good and highly amusing action comedy
this movie was weak sauce, the humors are lame and the storyline doesn’t go together…
btw why haven’t there any pc games coming out =\
You cannot play these files on a PS3. The PS3 is also limited to a maximum size of 2GB per file whether it be a DivX/Xvid encoded AVI or a WMV.
Are these movies any good? I’ve not seen one yet, should I bother?

Why is all HD content in mkv, its useless unless you have a beefy cpu, at least HD xvid or HD WMV can be played on xbox360.

That might fit on a single layer dvd (for storage) but you will still only be able to play it on a PC. I will go out on a limb and say that there aren’t any standalone dvd players that can read .mkv files at this point in time.

you can get mkv files to work on xbox/ps3 all you have to do is convert them into the correct file type. and for playing files over 2gb on ps3, all you have to do is split the file in 2-3 parts and then it’l play. and for the movie, i think its good.. not as good as the first but still had me laughin.
