Runaway 2: The Dream Of The Turtle-RELOADED
A well known adventure Runaway is back with its sequel called “The Dream of the Turtle”. It doesn’t matter now if adventures as a genre dies or they are already dead, but there are still some new titles on the market, and many people still like to play them. The only problem I see is the size of them, because almost 4 GB for a static adventure is quite a lot…
Runaway, a road adventure, released in Europe in 2003, injected adventure games with new life by becoming one the biggest hits of the year with over 600 000 PC units sold in Europe. What the Spanish development studio and game’s creators, Pendulo, did that was so successful was to propose a distinctly adult adventure with a duo of charismatic heroes, a cast of highly colorful characters and a good dose of humor. The whole cocktail looked good, and sounded good, served up as it was with an original eye-catching graphic style with the perfect soundtrack.

Aware of the expectations a sequel to Brian & Gina’s adventures would trigger a few years after the first release, Pendulo Studios has taken its time to develop and improve this new episode called The Dream of the Turtle. The team has worked hard with a very clear and precise objective: to make the game better than the original in every way and offer an even funnier and captivating gaming experience.
Players will be able to explore more than 100 different places across the globe, throughout the 6 extensive chapters of this new adventure. In Alaska, Hawaii, under the sea or up in the sky, in the middle of a hostile jungle or on board a huge yacht, you will experience an unforgettable adventure in a rich and varied environment. Pendulo Studios has come up with many juicy puzzles and exciting challenges which can be solved more or less easily depending on the player’s level.

The adventure is made up of 6 main chapters. Players can explore more than 100 different places in all four corners of the globe: Alaska, Hawaii, underwater or in the sky, in the heart of the jungle or on board a huge yacht. There are tons of different colourful places, marvellous backdrops for an unforgettable adventure. Pendulo Studio has concocted a large number of tasty puzzles and scintillating enigmas of advancing difficulty levels for players to solve. But Pendulo Studio has also taken care that nobody will get stuck for too long in certain game passages; difficulty levels in comparison with the first episode remain the same. All players have to do is open their eyes and ears for clues that emerge throughout and deploy the basic level of nous required for all adventure games.

this looks pretty cool. but do you need to have played the first one to fully “get” this one?
Actually it’s not 4Gb, ’cause unrared image shows us the size of 6.5 GB. So looks like a worthy game…
It is 6.5 gig..So how do U go ABOUT Burnig this
After Iinstaled..It ask for CD2..I really could use some help here on burning this as I can’t seem to figure this out.I’m really an amatuer at this
you have to burn this in a DVD9 disc (double layer disc) it has the double of capacity than the common 4.7 Gb disc (DVD5).
Not all the burners are compatible whit DVD9 Discs.
What’s up with the proper from vitality? or better stay with the reloaded version?
ok , i installed it from Hard Disk
but it asks for the DVD, why is it doing this
i chose the maximum install option
is there any way to direct the check to my local directory instead of the DVD ?
Help. I can’t unrar the file cause I’m using FAT32 disk and the file is larger than 4GB. Is there any other way to unrar the file without converting the whole disk. Please HELP!
The crack is not a NO-DVD crack. But you can get it from gamecopyworld.com—I had to Format one of my drive then changed from FAT32 to NTFS, after unraring, moved setupfiles to another drive and then again changed the file system to FAT32. Phewwwwww..
The included cracked exe file doesn’t work.
This game is bad…
I enjoyed the first one, but this one starts with some very dumb puzzles.
piece of broken glass + wood stick = slingshot (wtf?!)
Has anyone tried to cut wood with a thick piece of glass?
And there are a lot of similar stupid puzzles. ive stopped playing it somewhere in the middle and uninstalled it.
